Tile: Ceramic and Porcelain - Install
The project was a complete disaster. The floors were installed incorrectly with the wrong materials - in violation of the contract they wrote. The floor failed immediately. When we called them out for using the wrong materials, they started contacting flooring companies to generate a list of excuses. In the end, they walked off the job with our money and our floor is in worst shape than before they started.

"ON A GREAT NOTE: We installed a beautiful oak hand made staircase that we are very proud of and they are very pleased with it is a focal point in their home. See this at our website www.rogers-contracting.com. This was an unfortunate situation where we were mislead us on the materials used for the subfloor. The subfloor was not to code and would not support a ceramic tile floor. The floor failed on their first attempt to have someone install ceramic tile, so they called us. We were very confident that we could install a beautiful floor that they would enjoy for years to come as we have installed many tile floors, however this was not the case. We were paid in full for the job and they were very happy. The homeowner contacted us about 3 weeks later regarding the floor. We reimbursed the homeowner for the cost of the materials that were used on the floor and explained what had to be done to make the subfloor stable. The homeowner has sought out yet another contractor to install the ceramic flooring. Hopefully the floor will be a success the third time around."
