I called /and emailed to start work 6 weeks after receiving estimate. Voice mail was full, and there was no response from email. I went with another floor man.

B. Powell Flooring gave us a quote on refinishing. It was a good experience overall. I haven't gone forward with the project with anyone. But I would have hired him. If I go forward I would use him. He gave me the quote on the spot and he was very professional and it seemed to be a good experience. I have to hold off on the project. This was about a month ago.

Bill Powell met us at our house to look at our wood floors which need repair and refinishing. We are weekenders, and he was flexible to meet us on a Sunday. He arrived early, took his time to carefully look at the scope of the work, and provided a detailed estimate immediately afterwards. Once we were ready for Bill to begin refinishing our floors, he was able to begin promptly. Bill worked quickly and thoroughly. He communicated with us regularly with updates and questions. Bill's work has completely transformed the look of our floors. They were dirty, scratched and discolored, but after Bill's refinishing it is hard to tell that any of those issues existed before. He is very skilled and his pricing is reasonable for the quality of work that he performs.
