I had carpets cleaned by Servpro in mid-July 2016 and when they were here I asked for an estimate for duct cleaning. The estimate was ~ $450 and I called the office a week later to schedule the work. I was told the cleaning staff would arrive by 9am and I made plans to take our dogs to daycare for the day. I was told it would take about 6 hours to do the job and I asked if they were going to clean the dryer vent at the same time. The scheduler said I should tell the workers when they arrived. I hustled home to be there when they arrived and went through rooms to be sure the vents were accessible (moving furniture as necessary) 8am, 9am, 9:30am....so where are they? As I was about to call to find out if I had the wrong date, the guys finally came at 10am. OK, so they finished in ~ 3 hours. Do they always wear their shoes all over the house, to and from the truck? I cleaned the vent covers as they worked. Would they have done it if I didn't? We'll never know. When the head guy told me the bill was $706, I nearly fainted. I asked him why it was almost $300 more than what I was given as an estimate, he said that was what it came to -- no offer to call the office or check. I didn't get a receipt - will it be mailed? (yes, I am planning to call them when the office opens today) Maybe I'm taking the coward's way by writing this, but I'm not arguing with a couple of men in my kitchen about a service bill. Here's my wish list: I wish I had asked them to take their shoes off -- to not wear them throughout y newly-cleaned carpets, I wish I had scheduled the carpet cleaning AFTER the duct cleaning. I wish I had asked them for their names. I wish I had checked every room before they left but company arrived unexpectedly as they finished. After they left I went through the house with my friend and discovered that some of the vent covers were askew, two vents in the basement were still covered with blue tape, and the back door was left wide open (hello mosquitoes!) Now I'm not sure if he actually cleaned the dryer duct... augh! Some notes about my ratings: The punctuality of the scheduler was good, although I don't know what happens between what the client is told and what the workers are told. I am accustomed to having a call before service workers arrive - sometimes an email. I got nothing. Professionalism - the guys were nice but I'm left with a bad experience and now wondering how well the task was done - given the lack of communication, no receipt or explanation of cost, and the lack of attention to details, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Come on guys! - pay attention to your work!

The response time for Dean was less than an hour. Initial clean-up was started and included removal of a soaked bed and furniture as well as installation of commercial desiccant and refrigerant dehumidifiers, three floor vacuum mat systems and multiple blowers. The house sounded like a factory and I suspect my 200 amp electrical service was near capacity.
In the next two days, they removed the attic floor and insulation, opened moist areas of drywall, and continued adding and moving blowers. By the third morning after the mess, the hardwood floors were down to 9% humidity and most of the cupping resolved. a light sanding and refinishing will restore it to new condition. Their prompt and efficient service, including disinfectants to prevent mold, helped protect the house. All the remaining drywall is intact and solid.
While I wish this type of thing never happened, I'm thankful for professional qualified people like Shaun, Marcus, and Chris who are qualified and caring enough to start us back to where it is really is like it never even happened.

They were really good.

They were very good and did a wonderful job.  It couldn’t have been any better.  We didn’t pay them because we were covered by our insurance.  I would highly recommend them.  They had all the machines down in our basement for almost a couple of weeks till they drained everything out.  They just kept working till they completed the job.  They put everything back the way it was.  In the process they had damaged some of the molding.  I pointed it out to them and they came back and repaired it.  One of the lights downstairs was broken and they came with their service person and replaced the light.  I had no complaints.  The fact that they wouldn’t leave until everything was done to our satisfaction, impressed us the most.  They are very dependable and are on time.  They got back to us as soon as possible with the answer to our questions.  The person who oversaw the workers was very good.  If I had any concern, I would call him and he would come right out.  We would discuss it and resolve it.

They were professional, reasonable, and knowledgeable about their products. I was very pleased. I have used them more than once. I refer people to them because I think they are very good.

They were very professional. An agent came to the house and gave us an estimate, and a date the job would be done. The mechanics were here on schedule, did the work to perfection and left 2.5 hours later. A week later they returned the clean area rugs. My wife and I were very satisfied.

Chad was here on time and did a thorough job. I was very happy with the experience. A couple of months later when it looked like old stains were coming back through I called again. Chad was here on time again and did the whole job over at no charge. He explained that what I was seeing wasn't stains but the knap of the carpet had been disturbed. I was very happy with the service and the employees were very professional. I even received a "thank you for your business" letter afterward. Unheard of these days.
