The finished job is okay, but every time we discussed something there was another added expense. Upon initial contract, I told them exactly what I wanted and yet when I discussed it after they started the work, it kept getting added. I had had three different areas of gutters put in, brand new, last fall. So it was like 6 months prior to their work. And they never even asked me. They just took those brand new gutters down and put them in their truck, which I didn't like at all. Then I had called them three or four times to come back after I gave them payment in full because there was one area that needed an extension pipe, something from the roof to one of the lower gutters, and you don't hear from them anymore. We spoke to both the father and the son and each of them said, "When we're in the area, we'll stop by" and it has been at least 6 to 8 weeks and there is nothing. I don't expect to see them because of this attitude of theirs. They started off at 10,000 and they kept adding to a point where I said, "No more anything" I could have had gutters around the two edges of the barn done and they were going to ask me $500 just for that. That's ridiculous, one straight line on each side. I would want other Angie's List members to be cautious about the final amount of money that they're asking. The work looks fine, but I don't know how it's going to hold up yet and I don't know what they covered up. This is frightening to me. I could only speak negatively about Tom and his demeanor. Jim was okay but a lot of baloneys. His attitude was a lot better. Their price was okay initially, but not by the time we got towards the end of the job. They didn't follow through on what they said. As soon as they got their money, it was gone. Punctuality for the most part, was good.
