He's been great.  He's young, but I hired him because he responded to my initial call promptly and efficiently.  I'm a long-distance landlord and I need to know that the work will continue regularly without prompting.  It's worked fine, and he does a good job.  It's been a year now, and I'm quite satisfied.  He doesn't seem to check email very often, so it's better to contact him by phone.
