Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel
I paid for all the materials on my own and was paying for labor only. He wanted to complete the project in (10) weeks and not exceed (12) weeks. We agreed that I would pay him for (12) weeks even if he finished early. I went to the home on memorial day weekend and the home was in shambles. There was one week remaining and when I asked about the timeframe, he responded that he may just have to work for free. At the duration of the (12) weeks, he left the job and left the house in shambles. I had (3) other contractors that looked at the home in regards to completing the work and they were all shocked to see the condition of the house. I filed an insurance claim and his insurance company agreed that the contractor did in fact damage the home. After walking off the job, he cussed my wife out over the phone.
