"I'm very upset to hear a client is having problems in their new home, but let me address these issues. As far as the pressure to give a review- when a Home advisor vendor closes out a job lead home advisor generators the review request this is nothing to do with the vendor. As far as the water leaking down the side of the house during the inspection I tested all water piping and waste piping on the report (3) different time on pages 23,26 & 29 I recommended Further evaluation and repair by a licensed plumber because of the wrong materials and incorrect piping installation. I never observed any water leaking out of the house during the inspection. I do recall the client had contractors in the home during my inspection and none of these contracts noticed water leaking down the side of the house either. As far as the deck- Home inspectors don't perform code inspections if we did I would have failed the garage conversion and 2nd bathroom. I did recommend further evaluation & repair by a licensed contractor on page 8 because of the lag bolts not installed properly. I made recommendations several times throughout the report for further evaluation by a licensed contractor if the buyer doesn't bring in a licensed contractor before they purchase the home they shouldn't blame the inspector. The meaning of FURTHER Evaluation means the component requires technical or invasive evaluation by a Qualified Professional Tradesman to determine the nature of any potential defects, the corrective action & any associated COSTS. This was also in the report on page # 3."
