Only called to connect for work needed in the near future.  They had replaced the roof on our church and on the home of a friend.  Quality of work was excellent.  On the phone, Mrs. Locy was responsive, friendly and helpful.  We look forward to contracting with Bob's Home Improvements for a number of projects around our house. Great reputation locally!

Bob and his wife Suzy have done numerous jobs for me in the past few years.
The house roof was probably the first major job they did for me. They were able to match the shingles to the rest of the house roof that had been replaced ten years previously and the job looks great. I had compliments on the roof after it was done. No trash was left, and I had no clean up to do myself after the job was finished. Every job they do is cleaned up after they are done.
The outside antenna was done several years ago when the TV system changed over and I needed a better antenna to get good reception. Bob and his crew had the job done quickly, and he hooked up the system to my TV and had it working in no time. When it needed adjust ment later on, he was happy to get his ladder onto the roof and turn the antenna for me.
The bathroom sink needed a new faucet and some of the pipe underneath the vanity had to be replaced at the same time. The sink now works fine.
The barn roof panel was old fiberglass that was broken when a tree trimmer accidentally stepped on it while doing work around a building. Bob removed the remains of the old panel and put the new panel on and it's nice and leak proof inside the barn again. This kind of job hardly merits a review, but I included it because I wanted to describe how Bob works: I'm the kind of person who stands on the ground and says and quot;Don't worry about doing it perfectly, it's a barn and it's ok. Don't fuss over trying to make it look perfect.and quot; Bob is the kind of person who stands on the ladder and says, and quot; No, it's OK, I want to do this right.and quot; And he doesn't come down the ladder until it's done the way he wants it, which is a nice looking, solid, and lasting. He's not a guy who does a slap-dash job just to get it done and move on to something else. He and Suzy both are people who want to do a good job because they know that's what they would want to see themselves if they hire something done.

The doors in my house were two sets of interior wooden French doors that are often open, and over time they got so they wouldn't shut correctly because they warped. Bob removed the doors and molding and reshimmed them and didn additional work so that they now shut nicely, and it's not a struggle anymore to have them closed.
The kitchen lights were updated from 1960's tube fluorescent lights to pot lights. At the same time the original diningroom hanging light was replaced with a ceiling fan and it was put in a spot two feet over from the original light. And the ceiling was painted (the kitchen and dining room are one room). It's a nice job, and has updated my house considerably. There was a lot of drywall work in this job and it looks nice, and they kept the drywall dust from the sanding from flying all over the rest of the house, too.
Bob and Suzy are good people, they are friendly as well as professional and honest, and they do a great job. I don't hesitate to have them doing work in my house when I'm not there if it's necessary, just telling them to come in and lock the door when they leave, They are even good with my dogs. :) One other thing, Bob is an and quot;explainerand quot; and he takes the time to explain what is wrong, what is the right way to fix things, and why he's doing something the way he's doing it. He will tell you what doesn't need fixing just as quickly as he points out what does, so you aren't spending money on something that doesn't need it. And if that's not enough, if it's a job that they can't do, they will even contact other people on your behalf to get the work done. Which makes a problem for the homeowner that much less stressful to deal with.
I wholeheartedly recommend their services to anyone.

He is licensed and insured. He is very responsive and came right out on a Sunday. He does whatever you need him to do. His wife does all of the bookkeeping and they right everything out and have you accept and sign any proposals. They really work with you and work within your budget. I can't say enough good things about him!
