Handley & Sons is a family owned business that repairs and installs both forced air and boiler furnaces and installs, repairs air conditioning units also. I recently had them service my boiler furnace and was pleased with the service and response. I am a person who believes that good work deserves appreciation and like to share the experience. I highly recommend them and know who I will be calling if down the road I should need service.

Arrived as scheduled and completely work promptly. Large crew to get done without delay. Owner stopped in both days to check on work and see if we had any issues. Added a new duct to kitchen for no extra charge.

The only problem was that the battery and the thermostat had died. We didn't have any heat because the battery died. I did replace the battery, but there was a reset button that had to be reset and I just didn't know to do that. They came out, repaired it and they were on their way. They came out, they replaced the battery, they hit the reset button and the furnace was perfect again. After that, I just went back to them solely for the furnace. They're great. When I called, the other company, Horbett Heating & Cooling, gave me a hard time. They did not show up. I called this company and they were here, within an hour.

They're punctual. When you are in the dead of the winter and you need someone to come out and fix your furnace, they come. They're dependable. The price was pretty cool.

The overall cost for the parts, the service and the tax, everything included, was $402.21. They were friendly, they explained what they were doing the whole way, through the whole service call. They kept me apprised of what was going on. I was right there with them, the whole time. In addition to that, they told me about gimmicks of other companies. This is when I found out Horbett had lied to me about my furnace, when they told me that I needed a new furnace. All I needed was an inducer for $139.95.

we recently had a problem with the fan on our furnace (running our AC) It would not shut off. The furnace was originally installed by Handley 18 years ago, and we have had it serviced by them a few times in the past for minor problems. So we called them to take a look. Turned out one of the water drains had plugged and the water had backed up onto the circuitry that runs the fan. This gave us a choice of replacing that component - which would be a bout $600 OR looking at replacing the furnace. Since it is 18 years old we could be forced into that that in the next few years anyway.

This person actually came out twice to do this work and only charged me for one service call. The price is excellent and Handley Heating is very professional. This is the same company that installed the furnace three years ago. I would highly recommend them.
