"Hello. Thank you for taking the time to give us a review. We are happy that you were pleased with our work."
"[member name removed], I am sorry that you are not happy with us, but since you placed this review, I think we need to state the facts. In May/June of 2007, we installed your system that was damaged by a fire. We also upgraded some of the components of your system and did not charge you anything additional. For the next two years, we serviced your equipment and did not charge you for any warranty items (parts or labor). The last call we have in our system was Aug/Sept of 2009. In July of 2013, you called us for a service call. We have not heard from you since 2009, almost exactly four years. I am presuming that since you did not call us, your system was working correctly. When our technician met you at your home, you indicated to him that if this was going to cost you anything you did not want him to do anything. Since the warranties on both the parts and labor had expired already (labor expired in 2009, parts expired in 2012), the call would have been a billable call. When our technician heard that you did not want us to do any work, he left your home. As far as not answering your phone calls, we did speak to you or else the technician would have never met you at your home, and since you refuse to pay for any repairs, there is no need for your original Project Manager or the Service Department to send another technician out. We were clear when we told you that the equipment is no longer under warranty and that the call would be billable, you just did agree with the answer we offered you. As you can see from our Angie’s List rating, we do take care of and service our customers. I am sorry that you are having issues with your system, but just because we installed it does not mean that there is a lifetime warranty on parts and labor. Warranties expire, and after they expire, the customer is responsible for the costs."
Very clean and neat installation, inside and outside. Very courteous and punctual installers. Explained remote operation, how to change filters, etc.
Highly recommend.
"Thank you for the nice comments. I am glad to hear that we met your expectation. I will let Bill Young and his crew know that you appreciated their work and would recommend them, and Northeast Mechanical, to your family and friends."
"Member, Thank you for the comments (I have passed them on to Ty as well), we welcome you as a new customer. We pride ourselves on continuous employee training and stressing to our technicians to be thorough. Nobody likes call backs, especially not the customer. We will be contacting you to talk about the humidifier."
The only thing that wasn't addressed was that he said they would follow up with a written quote, in the mail, for fixing our furnace damper and for fixing the water sight glass. As of the writing of this review (1/14/13) we haven't received those estimates. I also haven't called them about those quotes.
I would definitely call them again: they were fast, professional, and got the work done. Their price might be higher than some other providers, but what you're getting in return is a service that came through quickly in a pinch.
"Hello, Thank you for taking the time to submit a review. I am sorry about the initial mixup, but am glad to know that we met your repair expectations and corrected your problem promptly. Thank you for your past business and I hope we continue to be the heating and air-conditioning company you choose in the future."
