Horrible experience. When I arrived, they informed me that they cancelled my appointment. They claimed to have called me (which they did not) and I did not respond. I asked what number they called and she couldn't tell me. The receptionist then blamed me for not calling before I came. And then she just kept repeating that they called me twice. Very unprofessional. I had waited 6 weeks for this appointment.

My experience is always very good. It is a small office so you really get to know the people and they get to know you. I have never had to wait too long there. The vet takes a lot of time with the appointments to explain things and give you all the options and the pricing is reasonable.

Dr. Estra preformed surgery on our dog to remove a lypoma and did excellent work for this. However, we were back in the vets office nearly weekly because of ear infections for our dog, which was the initial reason we have visited her after moving to the area. After three rounds of treatment with no success, dr. Estra recommended having our dogs ear drums removed! Claiming that there was no way our dogs could hear anyway with her ear infection problems. Thank goodness we did NOT do this procedure but sought a second opinion. Turns out our dog has simple food allergies and that once we changed her food, her ears cleared up and were never a problem again. While dr. Extra may be a skilled surgeon, she is too eager to cut and does not appear to treat the whole dog, but instead only focuses on the specific symptom at hand. There are better, more loving practices in this area.

Everything went fine on my last visit. I am fairly new to the area, and I chose to go to them after doing a research on the web. My experience with them has been very positive. They provide good personal service. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Dr. Estra saw our 2 dogs and 1 cat regularly since April 2008. There was a period of a month when one of our dogs got very sick, and we were in and out of Canterbury very frequently, including a couple surgeries and several days in the ICU. Dr. Estra was great, and helped us get her healthy again. Our elderly cat had many health problems, including kidney disease. Dr. Estra helped us manage her problems. Everytime the disease would progress and a new symptom would occur, the doctor was very informative, honest, and compassionate about what was happening and what could be done. She would spend as much time with us as we needed to feel comfortable that our questions were answered. You can tell Dr. Estra really cares about animals. She volunteers a couple mornings every week at a local animal shelter, and use to train seeing eye dogs. We moved out of the area, and are very sad to have to look for a new vet. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a good vet.

This was a first visit for a newly-acquired rescue dog. Visit was entirely routine and without incident. The facility was very clean and the attitudes professional. I'm not well-calibrated on what these sorts of things cost these days, but seemed a little high.

Dr. Estra and her staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. They have taken the time to answer all of our questions, and called us a couple times to ask how our cat was doing after we had brought her in sick. I haven't shopped around, so I'm not sure how her prices compare to other vets in the area, but they seem fair. Overall, we have had a good experience and would recommend them.
