Sky Blue Pools

The representative on the phone was courteous, professional and I didn't have to wait too long for an appointment but I am disappointed by the service provided by the staff who performed the job. They arrived as scheduled and were to cover the pool and winterize the heater, which I would think would involve covering these items. The pool itself was covered but both the heater and solar-cover protective covers which were stored exactly where the pool cover was were left for me to do. Also, a few planks of my deck apparently popped off during the closing process and all I was left with was a note to have it repaired and let them know if I want them to come back for the last cover strap to be secured. A phone call to let me know this occurred with an apology and an offer to help to repair them would have been a better way to handle then a note in my mailbox, especially since my credit card was effectively charged for the full fee without any hesitation. I would hire them again but I now have to make sure I'm home to ensure the job is complete and that I'm not left with any surprises to deal with afterward.

Chris did the work.  Very thorough.  Only one to ever check whether 0 rings were in place, which was the cause of one of the leaks.  The office was responsive and pleasant.  Gave me an ETA for the visit.  So far so good.  He also checked the salt generator and checked the pool chemistry and  said that I didn't need any chemicals.  He seemed to know all about salt pools and answered all my questions.  Assuming they return and fix the assembly for the SG, I will be very happy. Have engaged them to clean bi-weekly. 

We chose this company based on them having slightly lower prices than other pool companies and every dollar matters in my house. We have used them to open and close our pool at the beginning and end of the past 2 summers. The men that come are nice and I never have a problem with the workers. My main problem with the company, is that they find something to charge me for each time they come. Last fall, they told me they couldn't find the screw that my cover gets connected to, and tried to blame another company but they are the only company who has ever touched my pool since I moved in to my house. This past Spring they said some part on my filter had to be replaced. These are just 2 examples and maybe these items really did need to be replaced, but just seems odd that every time they come, there's an extra, unexpected charge. This summer their opening and closing rates have also increased. This past time when they opened my pool, they forgot to screw down the anchors around my pool that were used to hold the cover on, so my brother had to come over and do that before someone punctured their foot on them. And lastly, last summer, they charged me twice on my credit card, but I should note that when I brought it to their attention, they fixed it; however, it would not have been fixed had I not double checked my credit card statements.

It is a very good company, and they are very responsive. It is busy, which I guess is good because of their customer standard. They are very thorough and it is a family business, and so it sounds like everybody has some interest to make sure that the customer is happy. They check everything before they leave, and so they make sure that there is no leak, and they will explain the pump works, and how much it will cost to put in.

3 techs arrived and performed complete winteriziation for my inground pool. They worked together and finished the service in less than 30 minutes.

Terrible. Came to my house to fix a light in my in ground pool. Never confirmed a date to come just showed up. The left the light dangling outside of the pool. Let me a bill that stated they will return to install the light whent he epoxy is dry. Never came back and now are expecting payment. Charged me $110 to put epoxy on a light in my deep end. Just terrible! When I called they said I would have to pay another $110 to have them come and put the light in. I think that is terrible service.

I originally called this company to install new capping around my pool I decided to try them first to see how their service was by having mu pool winterized. I came home from work and found my big garden pots in my garden (which I pay a lot of money for on maintenance) My 2 lounge chairs were also put in the garden. When I called to complain the women I spoke to told me they had a similar complaint and if I could send pictures. Afew days later another women called and said she question the workers and said they did not place my stuff in the garden. I replied are you telling me I am lying? Her response was no I am not. That did it I continued by telling her thank you for letting me know how your company works as I will not be needing your services any longer!! Good move on my part before I let them destroy anymore of my property. BEWARE!!
