Joe's Complete Tree Service

The work was performed as expected. The owner Joe was onsite the entire time. His crew new exactly what needed to be done and the tree was removed in under 2 hours. The crew did a good job cleaning up the area after taking the tree down. Would definitely hire again.

Update 12/09/2020 I found 3 parts of the swimming pool step that they broke and they weren't man enough to tell me that they broke the ladder and it was hidden on my bushes. I have a puppy and then suddenly I found the piece of the ladder steps on my dog's mouth. I got afraid my dog would be hurt and it was making me more more angry. They had a dirty mouth as well and using an F word to me. He also leaves all his people and they speak Spanish and no one understands me when I talked. I was so disappointed. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Disappointed. They broke the fence gate and the piece of fence and when they came back the second time to finish the job, they broke the bottom steps on the swimming pool ladder and they hid the piece of the steps that they broke in my flower garden. When I tried to call them and talked to the owner, and he came over to check on the destruction that was done and he used the F-bomb several times, and told me to never call him again.

His crew was very nice! He cleaned up after, they did a very good job and I'm very happy with it.

I was very impressed. Joe came with 4 workers and they did a fantastic job, including the cleanup. The trees look great. The whole thing was done in a little over 2 hours. Joe and his men couldn't have been nicer, and the bill was very reasonable. I highly recommend them.

It went very well and smoothly. Joe arrived in a timely manner and fully completed the job. I was working while the work was being done and missed seeing them at the end of the day. I wound up paying them the following day after the work was complete. I found him to be very knowledgable, reliable and trustworthy. I will definitely call him for the backyard as soon as Im ready.

Did a great job, cleaned everything up, worked FAST, fair, polite. He's very busy but he always gets back to you eventually and I think the fact that he's busy bodes well for what a good job he does. Asked him his opinion on some other trees, he advised to leave them alone. Honest, too. I will definitely call again.

They're excellent. It was just a really tall tree in the way.

While reviewing the situation with the tree on my garage, they also noted that I had two very large trees in my front yard that also needed to be removed as they were dead and posed a danger to the area. They came out the next day and performed all the work as described. The trees were removed and the property is in good shape. The whole process was very quick and efficient.

Several phone messages and Angie's list messages were ignored - never heard back from the provider and eventually gave up. This is not only a disappointment, it delayed our seeking alternatives until well after the leaves sprouted, making any future servicing more difficult.

It went very well.     Him and his workers came right on time.   They were at our house about 4 1/2 hours.  They were very professional and very neat.  They cleaned our property very well.

I met with a representative who looked at the trees, the area they would be working in and gave me an estimate of about $2500 to cut down the trees, remove all wood, and grind the stumps.

The crew on the day scheduled but told my wife that they could not get the bucket truck to do the

 work, unless they also removed a perfectly healthy Norway spruce that was about 20 feet tall.  I did not want this tree removed, and the estimator saw this tree and never commented on it.  My wife took their advice at face value, not thinking that trees are removed all the time, with climbers, etc and said go ahead.  This should have been discussed with me by the estimator and it was not mentioned.    Even with the bucket truck, they dropped a heavy trunk on my neighbors property next door, and dented the top rail of the chain link fence.  When my neighbor asked them to be more careful, instead of an apology he got brushed off.

If you are looking for someone to clear cut property, maybe they are great, but I would not recommend them for work around home and landscaped property.

Just had the pleasure of using Joe's Complete Tree Service. Joe was professional, punctual and extremely informative.  He knew how to work within my insurance policy to make sure we received the most out of our coverage.  He arrived on time, worked quickly, did a great job and was extremely neat and left my place in tiptop shape.  I would happily recommend this company for tree removal.

Joe was very professional and courteous and did exactly what he said he would do.  I love this huge oak tree and was really afraid that too much would be taken off.  Other companies wanted to take off much more (plus the cost was more), but Joe didn't want to prune too much, even using the phrase "elevate all around tastefully", which is exactly what I wanted.  It looks so much better now!  I only decided to have the dogwood removed when he offered a very good price, since he would already be there.  He removed the dogwood completely and ground the stump in the ground so you can't even tell it was there (other than the mulch spot).  Everything was perfectly cleaned up afterward - you couldn't even tell they were there!  I would highly recommend Joe's Complete Tree Service to anyone.  Thanks, Joe!

I called for an estimate and Joe called the next day and was able to come out the same day. One thing I didn't like was the estimate was not written and he just left very quickly saying to call him if I wanted to move forward. After discussing it with my husband, I called and left a message saying we wanted to hire him. When he called back, he didn't call my cell phone which was the number I left, but left a message on my home phone saying to wait for his call Friday or Saturday and he would come out to write up the contract. Well, I never heard back from him until Sunday morning at 9 am- I waited around all day on Saturday for him to call because I really wanted to get it done. When I expressed the fact that I waited all day for a call his response was that he was sick on Saturday and could not return my call. Well, that's not what the person who answered the phone when I called & left multiple messages said. It was clear he didn't really want the job which is fine but don't waste my time. Oh and please don't call me on a Sunday morning and laugh at me when you realize you woke me up. Not processional at all. Wound up using another company who was $300 less and threw in another service at no cost.

Joe arrived promptly the day after initial call for a tree removal estimate was placed. We had used his services many years ago when a tree had fallen on our house and he had provided quick and efficient service. We should have called him again two years ago when we needed some pine trees to be trimmed but unfortunately, instead, followed the advice of a friend to use their tree service. What a mistake! The workers basically butchered the pine trees that we simply wanted safely trimmed. Our complaints fell on deaf ears - the owner saying, "you'll get used to them." Well we haven't gotten used to them being tall, empty trunks with a thatch of branches just on top. Mostly we fear that they might fall or drop branches on our neighbor's house. That prompted us to now call Joe's Complete Tree Service. Joe was prompt and professional and confirmed that yes, our trees had been destroyed (in appearance) by the shoddy work, but that they were safe ...and he really did not feel we needed to go the expense of having them completely cut down. I appreciated his honesty. We may still ultimately decide to have the trees removed, and if we do, will have Joe and his crew do the work.
