You should strongly consider removing JMT Mechancial, Danson Heights Construction, Danson Heights Development Corp, And Danson Heights, Inc. from you recommended list. The referral services should have some liability for recommending them to consumers.
"There was no one - including the town inspector - who did not see the type of customer [member name removed] is. It is strange that she mentions court when we are suing her (as public records will show) Public records will also show that all of our DBAs are filed with the county, readily visible to the public, and designed to clarify what we do (Danson Heights Development, Danson Heights Mechanical, Danson Heights Real Estate, etc.) As for the 16 complaints - well, it is also public record that its a lie. What the Internet needs is a way to review customers. It is extremely rare for me to have any difference with a customer at all, let alone one that cannot be resolved. Sadly, it is clear that we will need to allow a court to decide. I asked Suffolk County to escort us onto the property (I won't go there otherwise) and we will do everything in our power to satisfy our customer, as always. (That letter was sent to Suffolk County Dept of Consumer Affairs) That was by recommendation of the town inspector, as he warned me that she was even argumentative with him. There are people in the world who want to be in conflict with the people around them. As I said, this conflict will be settled in court. We have our proof. [member name removed] has her lies. We also have a very long reputation that directly opposes [member name removed] review of us. [member name removed], if your reading, I will remain willing to come back and address your concerns so long as there is an official there as witness."
They communicated well with us by email/phone. Their technicians (John and James of Call-Me-Electric, Jim Porter and Joe Puglisi of Danson ) were all knowledgeable professionals. Yes, they were punctual with their appointments and were very patient with any question we had.
We are glad to have chosen them for this important job, and have no hesitation to recommend anyone who would like to consider their service. A few neighbors also used them for installation of generator.
"(member name removed), Thank you very much for your review. You, too, were a pleasure to deal with and I look forward to a long service relationship. I thank you also on behalf of Jim, Joe, and Call me Electric. Jim and Joe do indeed make a good showing for us as do the rest of Danson. I'd like to think that is because we hire for character first. Skill, we can teach. Character is there or it isn't. Jim and Joe are two young men of excellent character. Ralph, from Call Me Electric, and I have been working together for over 20 years. He is an excellent electrician and, as importantly, he runs his company much like I run mine; we both know it is our quality work and our customers' positive experience that move us forward. Thank you again for being one of our customers and very, very especially thank you for the review. My best to you and your family, Joe D'Albora"
"Thank you for that review, [member name removed]. I know it takes time to give reviews, but I really appreciate it. I'm also glad to read we came through for you. We work hard to give everyone the positive experience you had and it's great to get feedback from customers who see the value in sharing their experience."
Some small confusion at the outset about the time that the workers would arrive was sorted out quickly and I was able to get the work done without being on site for the entire time. The work was done quickly and everything that Joe had promised was included. There was a problem with the gas service due to a misunderstanding on the part of one of my tenants and Joe's worker hung around longer to wait for the problem to be resolved by Keyspan so that he could test the heating system, even though the problem was due to my misunderstanding.
There was a concern about some dead grass in the yard on the part of my tenants as a result of removing the old boiler, and I relayed this to Joe. He personally came by to take a look at the damage and helped fix it. After firing up the boilers for the first time this winter I discovered that the new radiator that was installed was not getting hot due to a complicated issue with the pipes. Again I called Joe and within a week he was there to fix it free of charge. During a January cold spell one of the boilers stopped working. Having promised a one year waranty on the work, I again called Joe and he was there the next day to again fix the problem, which was caused by a malfunctioning component.
After having dealt with some unreliable or incompetent contractors over the years, I was concerned about laying out $10,000 in hard earned $ to convert a system that was already working (though not very efficiently). It was refreshing to have Joe and the people at Danson Heights take me though the process and follow-up repeatedly to ensure things were functioning properly. Joe been reliable, competent and has shown the utmost respect to me and my property. I would highly recommend him to anyone thinking about a similar job.
"[member name removed], I hope all is well with you. It has taken some time for me to see this review and respond to it. I suppose I get so busy trying to earn great reviews like yours that I forget to take the time to read them. I thank you for your review. I am happy for you that our services haven't been needed for a bit, but I'm sure you realize I will be happy to help you if they ever are. You were a pleasure to deal with. Since our decision to shift our focus from the US Government contract work we were doing back to our roots - residential service and installation - we have added an American Standard Heating and Air Conditioning Dealership and ramped up our Generac Generator Dealership. The fast service you got from us for your boilers is now available from us for nearly every system in your home! Which reminds me...perhaps it's time to inspect the boilers? Be well, [member name removed]. Best to your family."
