John and his crew are very professional. We like the fact that John himself was at our home making sure the job was done properly.

Everything was cleaned and hauled away as promised. We had other estimates before hiring John but they (other companies) were at least twice as much.

John Was very easy to talk to both on the phone and at the appraisal. He estimated the job within 1 minute of arriving and obviously as an old hand at this. He came back with a crew of 2 additional people to preform the work and they had the tree down with no damage beyond a dent in the lawn where a log chunk hit (And the tree was within 20 feet of wires on 2 sides and the house on the 3rd). The whole process took less than 1.5 hours. I'm not sure about comparative pricing, but it seemed reasonable to me.
A second person (sounded like a subcontract arrangement) came to do my stump removal. I paid John 400+tax on 450, and the stump guy (I don't recall his name) 50. He was a bit less punctual, but was willing to go out of his way a full day for a $50 stump if I needed it done that quickly. He ended up grinding it out in about 45 minutes on a Saturday.
All in all an excellent experience.

They were amazing. It was very easy to schedule the work and they cleaned up 100%. They were very professional and extremely careful with making sure that the trees fall on the right area. They were really good.

Dead and dying branches from a neighbor's very large silver maple tree were hanging over our house, driveway, and front yard. We obtained estimates for tree trimming from four different services; Ax Men were the most reasonably priced. They were extremely efficient - Only 9 days elapsed between the date we first called them and the date they completed the job! The guys who did the work were friendly and professional. They showed up on time and thoroughly cleaned all debris before leaving. I would hire Ax Men again.
