Wonderful! Steve was so helpful, responsive and respectful ( not all contractors contacted were). I've already recommended him to several people.

Extremely well. As Mark told me, the experience was transformational. In one day the property went from scruffy and overgrown to open, air- and light-filled. The men worked almost 11 hours to cut, clear, grind stumps . and rake the areas we pinpointed. The tree climber was expert at dropping limbs precisely between shrubs I wanted to keep. Mark 's enthusiasm and understanding about my old landscape was very reassuring - he is a true kindred spirit , and an expert arborist who is certified and trained in tree risk assessment. He knows his stuff. My landscape has a new lease on life and I look forward to working with Timberline and Mark when my wallet says we can start planting!

After a little difficulty making contact and getting a date for an estimate, the process went smoothly and was beautifully done.  An estimate was provided by Steve and followed by some discussion regarding options and suggestions.  Since my work schedule was difficult, I was not able to be on site, but Steve communicated by phone, offering to send pictures, and we managed to develop a plan.  He employed two crews for different jobs, and they worked very hard and did an amazing job removing a fairly large Maple and a large Mulberry.  They brought in another crew to remove the stumps for the two trees, and offered to do another large stump they discovered for a large Spruce which had fallen during Hurricane Sandy.  I was delighted on my arrival home to see the trees gone and no damage at all to the surrounding lawn, shrubs and other landscaping.  They did a fantastic job removing the stumps, smoothing out the surrounding ground and leaving everything clean and lovely.  The crew were highly professional, friendly, respectful and worked exceedingly h****** a hot humid day.  I felt the cost was very reasonable and I would certainly use them again.

It was excellent. It all went very good. They were on time and they informed me of everything that they were going to do. I had to work with another neighbor on a tree which went very well. They were very responsive to the fact that there were two of us involved on the single tree. I was very pleased and I would use them again.

I was very happy with this company. First thing that impressed me about the owner Peter, is I communicated him prior to the job and I let him know that I was looking to go with another company for the job; He told me that was fine and asked if he could still come out anyway. After another company mentioned that they could not do the work I was wanting them to do. I contacted Peter back, because he sounded like he was interested and willing to do the job. He came and quoted me within $100 of what the other company quoted me, not only for the trimming work, but as well as removing the ivy as well as replacing the cable that was attached to the tree. He said the way that he needs to do this, is they needed to cut the ivy at the bottom of the tree, and then I was needing to call him when it turns brown and that it would take 6-8 weeks. After that they would be able to come back and get all the ivy off, and it only took them about 30 minutes. He then went up and looked at this cable, took some pictures and showed me that how this other company I used before had actually damaged the tree. It rubbed all the bark off the tree for years. He said that this was weakening the tree/branch. I like that he shared the pictures with me and showed me the cable too. He did what he said he was going to do and everything still looks great. They were reliable, they were valuable, they were experts and had clear communication.
