Victor came over within a day or so of first contact; offered an elegant and reasonably-priced solution; and a day later dropped off a written estimate as requested. A week later he (and his son) arrived on time, did the work in 1 1/2 hours, and left the workplace immaculate. I am so glad we found Vic McStay. They're a small, highly-experienced, family business which was exactly what we were looking for. Vic is direct, soft-spoken, easy to work with, and, most important of all, EXTREMELY competent and experienced. McStay Plumbing will be our go-to plumber from here on out.
Description of Work: We needed to reroute a bathroom sink and shower/bath waste line. It had been emptying into a drain that fed into a drywell and we needed to disconnect and feed it back into our main septic line (and tank). I had three other plumbers look at the job, two submitting estimates. There were concerns about cutting the 3-inch galvanized pipe which might loosen up old brass plumbing causing leaks. One company’s estimate came with an unnecessarily complicated solution costing twice as much as McStay.
