Denise Wenacur, Allied ASID, Assoc. IIDA, is the principal of Westchester, NY based DW Design & Decor LLC, a full service Interior Design firm specializing in Design and Renovation for residential and commercial projects. Over 25 years of design experience has enabled Denise and her team to handle any size project for her clients with personalized results. Good listening, great design, teamwork, reliable resources, attention to detail and LOTS of imagination allow for a customized solution tailored specifically to the client's individual style and requirements. We partner with out clients to create the best possible solutions, offering options, possibilities, all within their budgeted parameters. Denise has appeared in local newspapers and cable TV for her participation in the Cerebral Palsy sponsored Designer Showhouse, has given color presentations to schools and fundraising events, is an ASID spokesperson, was an online Color Expert for Benjamin Moore paints and has participated in the Architectural Digest Home Show, in NYC. Denise has been published in many books and magazines such as 'Westchester Home' and 'Design Bureau'. She holds a BA degree in Art, and is a graduate of the prestigious New York School of Interior Design.

Denise is a class act and phenomenal designer. We were referred to her by a close friend
when we purchased our new home in Westchester County the end of last year. We relocated from the city and went from
living in a small condo to a large home.
We didn't even know where to start with filling in all the space and
creating an inviting, contemporary space that could now be used for entertaining
and living. We gave her a budget, met
with her so she could get a sense of who we were and what we would use the
space for, and some ideas of the styles we liked. She took all that information and created the
most amazing home for us. We had some
challenging areas in our new home that we deemed unusable; she solved each of
those challenges for us by pulling in her team of experts to tackle each design
issue. We now use every inch of our
house and we love it. What I appreciated
the most about her was her service. We
were never in the dark, she openly communicated with us and she met deadlines
and kept our project going until it was completed. We had heard horror stories about other
designers that never complete projects and are impossible to get a hold
of. Not Denise. She was prompt, professional, endearing and a
pleasure to work with. Not to mention
her years of experience in her industry have allowed her to build a team that
was just as responsive as her. Deb with
window treatments is a true expert, Julia with the faux painting projects we
had her do blew us away and the contractor she referred to do some minor work
was friendly and professional and his work was flawless. Overall this was such a fun and great
experience to work with Denise and her team.
I would refer her to anyone that needs a designer for their home. We are set to work with her again on our
outdoor space and can’t wait to get that started. Thanks Denise for being such a dedicated
professional and so good at what you do.
