Best experience I have ever had hiring someone to do work on my property. Price was fantastic and there were no surprise charges at the end of the job, very professional, started when they said they would, finished when they said they would. Having Septic Fields Replaced was a very big job but Victor was always available to answer all my questions and handle all permits and paper work. When it was all done my yard was put back together and looked great. If you need your Septic replaced this is the guy to do it. De-Clogg is the best!

This is my first time buying a house with a septic tank so I had some concerns. Victor was a true professional. I was able to schedule a date very quickly with Victor, he was punctual, and did a thorough inspection of the septic tank.

To help avoid the cost of replacing your sewer line, we do recommend routine maintenance every 6-8 months consisting of camera inspection and high pressure jetting of the line."

The job presented some road blocks for Vic due to it being the original septic system from 1952, but he was able to handle the issue & complete the job. Vic was very professional, and very informative every step of the way.

First, let me say that I recommend Vic and his company, De-Clogg, with no reservations whatsoever. I have had recurrent problems with a relatively new septic system, and I chose to work with Vic because of his Angie's List recommendations as well as the fact that he is a licensed contractor in the county in which my house is located. From the very outset and through the entire process, Vic was prompt, courteous, professional and generous in sharing his professional knowledge. Moreover, he did everything he said he would, such as arranging for someone to empty the septic immediately prior to his excavation, getting a permit for exploration from the county, etc. Except for rain delays (over which he clearly had no control,) under Vic's expert guidance everything went smoothly and the problem diagnosed. When Vic found nothing wrong with the system itself he asked to be allowed into the house, and my tenants let him in at which point he was able to diagnose the source of the problem, which was running toilets. Based upon that diagnosis and a visit from my plumber, the problem has now been addressed. Vic didn't leave it at that. We had a subsequent conversation during which he gave me pointers on how to help the system, which had been overwhelmed with water, to self-repair, adding that if my tenants followed those tips everything should be fine. Vic is the type of contractor who is so great at his job and in the way he deals with people that if I were to read a negative review of him and his services, I would wonder what is wrong with the customer!

Vic was just great. I had the first appointment of the day and he showed up early. He waited in my driveway until I called him in. He explained everything he was doing and why. I found his prices to be very reasonable. I do not believe he repairs toilets but he said mine was an easy fix and proceeded to fix it. I would not hesitate to use Vic again and will highly recommend him to anyone that needs his services.

He actually pulled over to the side of the road to talk to me when I called. He was clear, articulate, and punctual. A genuinely nice guy. After some stops and starts with other plumbing & drain outfits, I couldn't be more pleased to have found DeClogg. You won't be disappointed.

I found De-Clogg on Angie's list. I wanted someone local. I did call a couple places, but Vic was the most friendly and informative -- and he was right in my town.
He listened patiently as I described our drainage problem -- back flow from the drain that goes from the washing machine right out of the house. I described the problems in detail. He knew what I was talking about. I thought it was clogged, but we have an old house with a septic tank, and he knew it was probably something else.
He came by on his own time and surveyed our situation. Not being able to see underground, he described the various possible causes for the drainage problems we were having, based on his experience with these old homes. He gave us detailed ideas about what we could do to fix it ourselves -- starting with digging up some of the 60 year old piping to see what we had.
After the external drainage system was visible, he came by again, on his own time, and discussed our options, giving us cost saving, do-it-yourself ideas. Vic was knowledgable, respectful and easy to work with, giving us his cell and accepting texts from me.
We discovered all the old piping was broken and needed to be replaced, and the septic and over flow tanks pumped and rejuvenated. We hired Vic to do the work. It was done in a day, in coordination with our septic pumping company. Vic was early, brought everything needed, and did the job with a friendly, experienced and gracious attitude at a reasonable price.
We should be good for another 30 years. I would recommend him very highly.

This is the third time they jetted my main septic line (it has to be done annually to prevent backups.) Victor was also able to find the location of the pump-up septic field and distribution box in an heavily overgrown area several hundred feet away from the main tank (no markings left by previous owners)-- no small feat!!
