It was good

I did not hire him to do work. I hired him to do an analysis of a crack in my concrete flooring. A company that does repairs of this type quoted me $23000.00 to fix the problem. He set me up with a gauge to measure any movement over time, but he did not think there is a concern. We are monitoring the gauge and need to wait for the results. He was honest and and knowledgeable and a good person.

Hired Tom from Veritas, on short notice, for a home inspection in New City, NY. He arrived promptly and began a thorough and thoughtful inspection. In addition to pointing out issues of concern during the inspection he spent a few minutes at the end summarizing his findings and answering questions. I especially liked that Tom was realistic about his findings pointing out what was of immediate concern, what was routine house maintenance, and what might be an issue in the future.

Way overpriced, but I was stuck for time and had to pay up.
