Rob's Carpentry

We contracted with him to remodel our bathroom. He told us to meet him at a shop where we would select our sink and tub. We made selections and he said we should pay him directly and he would pass along his contracter's discount. As it turns out we knew the salesclerk in the store and she calle us to advised that after we left he changed the order to less expensive items claiming that we changed our mind. He had also called the store befor our visit and told her not to quote us his discounted price. We fired him for dishonesty.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for a new service and so far it has gone great. I am going to have him remodel a different bathroom. He has not done the work yet. I just talked to him about it, scheduled some time frames and got some measurements. I have worked with Rob in the past so I am happy with his work. That's why I am calling him back. We have not talked price yet, but I am going to hire him. I have found his pricing to be fair. I had a very satisfactory experience on the previous renovation and I would recommend him. He was honest, neat and did a great job.

I have used him numerous other times before. Working with him is a pleasure. He listens to what you want to have done and tries his very best to do what you want. He is honest and will come back to you with other suggestions if the original plan won't work or fit the space. He explains why it won't work and offers other great suggestions. He really works to please the client. The tile he used is very difficult to work with but he did a great job with it. I would say he is as perfect as could possibly be with the materials available. He has also built a brand new closet with many storage options for me in the past.

His prices were very reasonable. The quality of the work was excellent. He is fair, smart, and knows what he is doing. He is neat and clean. He is a nice person. He was very trustworthy.
