"Joe" arrived as scheduled to provide an estimate. He brought nothing with him - no measuring tools, no pad, no tools to examine the tiles, grout or borders. He performed a visual, perfunctory examination of the floor, and asked questions that revealed little knowledge of wood flooring materials available in the marketplace. He suggested that my tiles needed to be fully replaced, and that a wood floor was the wrong solution to pursue. After the 5 minute examination, he exited without even asking for my email address (I had to tell him to take it to contact me with his estimates). He left without offering a word regarding ball-park figures, suggestions to pursue, or when he might get back to me with his estimate. I never heard from him again. Needless to say, this encounter was not only entirely unprofessional, but very sketchy to boot. I would not recommend even contacting this "business," much less using them, under any circumstances whatsoever.

I should have known as soon as he grabbed the signed contract out of my hand saying, "You can't cancel" to put a stop to it. But we were moving in and we needed the work done before that move in date. The guys who showed up and no identification and took offense that I asked for it. Then from there we went to the fact that they didn't have the equipment to cut the runner. When the finally did the runner, the rug was mis cut on the top landing so it didn't come together properly and there was and is a tear in the carpet at the corner. At the end of the day they asked for a check and I said no because a) the work wasn't done properly and b) it was agreed this would be a credit card transaction. I wanted the work on the landing redone. That night they called and when I refused to release the cc number, screamed at me and called me names. Finally it was agreed that they'd try and fix the landing. It looks shoddy, but we were moving in on Friday. I decided to give them a check because I didn't trust them with my cc # It makes me uncomfortable to even write this review. They know where I live. DON'T GO NEAR THESE GUYS

The salesman did a good job doing his presentation. Unfortunately, he did not have what we needed.

Very efficient, work was done in designated timeframe. Work was perfect.

To me it's a little pricey because I asked them to do a small hallway. They sent out someone to give me the estimate and they took a while because the person couldn't find the place. They sent out another person who was better but I had to wait another day.

They came to the house and brought samples and colors, but they were limited and they didn't have a lot of styles. They were a little high and that is why we didn't use them.

I tried different stores and they only put the carpet in and didn?t move furniture. But Empire Carpet moved furniture which was a big deal. I just know that they are really big company. I probably am going to call them for flooring and window treatments. The work went great overall. One of the reasons why chose them was because they have A+ rating with Better Business Bureau. They came and showed different carpets and different colors. They did the job really fast. I was happy with that.
