They have been as great as ever. He is very good and very responsive. They have excellent service including his HVAC team. The charges were very fair. I recommended them to another neighbor who was delighted with the service as well.

I am very happy to recommend Briar Electric Consulting Co.  I am redoing my kitchen;
Jerry and Steve came in to reconfigure and update the wiring for the new appliances; they were most efficient at this task. Further, I wanted under cabinet task and over cabinet lighting. I discussed my ideas with Jerry who listened to how I was thinking of accomplishing this; he then recommended a different, and what turns out to be a  better way -- under cabinet
lighting which allows for greater flexibility --  selection of low or high task lighting depending on need; and rope lighting for over cabinets to provide a soft illumination of the entire area. The result is really great -- I am delighted.

Great.
On time on budget.
They went above and beyond to make sure that details were seen to, including adding extra insulation in the attic around the new ductwork, and attention to neat installation of the blower (outside unit).

The electrical fees were included in my original bill for the remodeling. When they got here I was told there was an additional fee, the company then said they wouldn't do any work until I paid the fee. I told them I would pay the extra fee thinking they would be honest about the fees. The village contacted me to say I was in violation because the paperwork was not submitted by the company for the building permit and then I was fined. I tried to work it out and get my money back. The company is getting my money back for the fine when in actuality it was my money that went toward the fine. Their receipt specifically says that the fee is to cover inspection, electrical permit, certificate of inspection which is upon completion. When I talked to the contractor, they tried to tell me that all liscensed contractors charge that amount of $175, which was well over what I had already agreed to pay.
Response from Briar Electric Consulting Co

"The electrical fees were not part of the original contract with P&M, her GC contractor, as signed by the client, the fee was the normal fee paid by all other home owners; however, I have pointed out to P&M, that they must make an effort to clarify this fee in the future to new clients. In closing, to be clear, this contractor went back to the home and spent another day doing work above and beyond contract at no cost in good faith; now assumed not appreciated by the client."
