I went to this place because it was local and got good reviews on google. I wanted the rear windows of my brand new Subaru tinted. I brought the car in at 9 am and Ray told me it would take about 4 hours. I waited for them to call, and they never did. When I finally got a hold of them at 5pm, they said the car was ready. When I checked out the car, all the windows had bubbles and a few had hairs trapped in the film. Ray said they would probably come out and if they didn't , to bring it back and he would re-tint it. He then charged me $185 (which I thought was overpriced, after he quoted me $150). After a few weeks, the bubbles did not go away, and the tint started peeling in some spots. I brought it back and he agreed to re-tint it. I left it at 9 am, and called back at 1pm. No answer. I left 2 messages and repeatedly called until 3pm. No return calls, no answer. I finally just showed up at the shop, and my car wasn't even there. Where was it? Who knows? It looks like he farmed out the job to someone else. He told me the car would be ready in 30 minutes, then 10 minutes. I said I would wait. An hour later, he went somewhere and got the car. It was now 5 pm. The job looks better now, but the rear window has a few pieces of lint trapped inside it at looks bad. At this point, I cant waste any more time with Auto Images. I wasted 2 whole days without a car, 200 bucks and still got a bad job. My other car was tinted in Brooklyn for $125 in 2 hours and was perfect, even 5 years later. That is what I expected and they definitely did not deliver. I will never use them again and will reccommend others to stay away as well. UPDATE: Ray called me today (July 26th) to curse me out (literally) for this review. Further unprofessionalism from this "company". He said I was "unremorseful" and that in a recession a bad review like this could be devastating. He said I should have told him something was wrong and he would have given me a full refund. And waste another day of my time? If you know the previous job was bad, why dont YOU check your work before handing the car over? Maybe its a recession, but its also a free market, which means you dont get money for doing crappy work. Up your game and you will survive. Continue to provide sub par service and products, then the market will figure this out, and you will not. Dont waste any more of my time by calling me to curse me out for being unsatisfied with YOUR WORK.
