Hello, my name is Steven Bossard and I am the owner of Basements and Above Home Inspections. I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself and my business to you. At a very young age I started working for my father at his excavation business. I gained a great deal of knowledge about: foundations, basements, drainage and all areas under a house. After graduating for high school, I joined the military as an Airborne Combat Engineer. In the military I was able to learn a great deal more about other aspects of construction that rounded out my skill set. I went back to working with my father, after serving our country. I soon realized that constructing new homes was an amazing process and seemed more like an art. I moved on to work for a new home builder, framing and learning more about the wonderful art and craftsmanship of building. I have also worked in the fields of: home remodeling, light commercial remodeling, plumbing, electrical, log home construction, and modular home construction. For a length of time I owned my own new home/ remodeling business. Most recently I have been working in the field of construction management, over seeing all types of construction projects and tradesmen. I received my inspection license from NYS Lic. # 16000048041 I have come to realize, through remodeling, that there is a need for knowledgeable home inspectors. Weather you are a buyer or seller there is always a need for a good quality home inspection. I will inspect your home …. Basements and Above… to the best of my ability, with all my knowledge and never ending passion for construction.
