He was like an elf jumping through tree branches.  He was very careful.  He cleaned up like it was his own yard.

I called Clear View to get a quote to remove four trees in my yard. The owner (Bill Horton) was not in the office when I called and left a message, but he called me back a couple of days later and we arranged a time to meet at my home. When we met, he gave me a verbal estimate and told me it would be about four weeks before he could get to it. It was actually more like five weeks before he called me again, and about a week later, he came and did the work.
I was happy with the work they did. Bill arrived with two other workers. They were there almost all day (until after 4 pm), taking a lunch and a couple of short breaks. They completely removed five trees (I asked him to add one on the day of the job, and he charged an extra $150 for it). They also completely ground down the stumps, removed some of the shallow roots, and removed all of the wood and debris from my yard. They did the work by hand with chainsaws, climbing the trees and cutting down the limbs. Because the trees were close to my house and fence, I expected them to use cranes or something similar to ensure nothing hit the house, but they didn't. All of their cuts were done by hand, sometimes with the help of ropes tied around the limbs so the other workers could guide them in the right direction. All of the limbs fell well away from the house. These guys definitely knew what they were doing! The only thing that bothered me was that they didn't use safety glasses, hearing protection, or even gloves in many cases, but luckily no one got hurt.
Unfortunately, there was a fair amount of damage to my backyard due to their trucks, but I don't think it could have been avoided, as both their chipper and their stump grinder needed to be towed. My yard wasn't wet or soft, but the many ruts left by the trucks were 3-4and quot; deep. Also, they accidentally damaged a gate to my fence, but I researched the price of replacement parts and Bill removed that amount from my bill, even offering to come and install them.
Overall, I was happy with the work they did and very happy with the price. I would recommend this contractor!

We called Clear-View to request an estimate to have 8-10 trees removed from our backyard. We also needed quite a bit of brush cleared out from under the trees. Mr. Horton called back quickly and arranged a time to come out. His quote was incredibly reasonable and much lower than what we had expected. We hired him and he told us he would be available in approximately four weeks.
We received a call a week before Clear-View came to let us know when they would be here. They arrived in the morning and worked throughout the entire day. They were very professional and knowledgeable. They worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up after themselves.
They did such a wonderful job that we are going to have them come out again to cut back an additional tree. We highly, highly recommend Clear-View Tree Service.

They were recommended by someone I know. They took everything away and I don't have to clean up which I liked with their service.

He did a good job and very efficiently at a good price. I have used the service three different times to date with the same results.

When I called for an estimate, he arrived later that day. He gave me the quote; about a week later, I scheduled the service, which had to be postponed due to weather. He called to let me know when he and his crew would be available. They arrived on time and removed the trees in a day. They worked almost non-stop in high heat and humidity! They removed all the debris and ground the stumps. My yard looks fantastic!

We called to schedule an estimate and Mr. Horton responded and came out in a reasonable period of time. He scheduled the work, and although he forgot to call us when he was delayed, when my husband called him, he rescheduled promptly and this time arrived as promised. Two men worked extremely fast and hard and completed the allotted day's work by mid-afternoon. They charged exactly what had been estimated. My husband was there during the work, stacking wood as they cut it. He was very impressed with them and says and quot;we got more than our money's worth.and quot;

First 2 trees were cut down, then 2 more trimmed. Then stumps were ground down and all debris removed. It looks like the trees were never even there, and the plants around the trees were not affected or damaged.

I called the owner, William Horton on Friday, April 12 around noon. He was at my house with-in 30 minutes to give me an estimate for removing five trees. He said the job would take a half a day and that he could begin the work at 8:30am the following Monday, April 15. On Monday morning, he arrived at 8:30 and by 12:15pm, he was finished. Nothing on my property (other than the 5 removed trees) was damaged and all the debris was removed. The estimate was precise in both the cost and time of the project. I wish I could encounter this level of professional expertise, consideration and estimate accuracy with all my contractors. I HIGHLY recommend William Horton and Clear View Tree Service.

I called and left a phone message for Clear View on Nov 29. That same evening William Horton returned my call. I explained how I wanted 2 trees cut down and stumps ground. He said he could come out the next morning to give me an estimate. He promptly showed up as promised at 8am. He gave me a very good price and said the job would be completed in a week or two, perhaps sooner. I was happy with that. He called later in the day and said a job they were working on completed sooner than expected and he could come out the next day, Dec. 1. Great! Again William and his crew promptly showed at 9am. The trees were taken down with professional care as well as the stumps being removed. All debris was taken away and the yard was raked and cleaned up beautifully. A pleasure to do business with fair, friendly, professionals!

After grinding the stump down his crew raked the wood chips up and put them in their truck. They raked the area over and smoothed it out. I could consider they give very good and courteous service.
