First they connected the two gutters and ran them underground to the back end of the yard.  Next  they prepped the lawn for the brick walkways and patio.  Then they laid the pavers and after that they repaired the lawn all around the area.  The job took the whole week as it was 113' of pavers!  The did a very professional job and we couldn't be happier with the results.  We want to hire them again next summer to add on to the patio.

Got tests from several companies; none of the others recommended this particular type of walkway, which was the most appropriate for the house. The price turned out less than the inappropriate types, too.

Cleveland Brothers was one of six walkway companies from which I asked for bids. One didn't show up after two appointments were scheduled. The other four suggested walkway types that I didn't think were appropriate to the setting, though in their favor I had asked about them, not knowing all available types or what would be more functional in this location. One of these four had suggested using large flat stones from my property as steps. Eli from Cleveland Brothers also suggested the 'self-stone' steps, but he went further and suggested a type of walkway none of the others had mentioned, which was exactly in tune with the property and my own aesthetic sense. He was prompt both for the estimate and for the work. When a small part of the work didn't go well (essentially my fault), he quickly and cheerfully made good on it, even above and beyond. Eli was a highly competent hard worker (both unusual in my experience) and the finished walkway is professionally constructed as well as beautiful. Visitors, including two other contractors, express admiration unasked.
