They arrived at approximately 0730 Hours and completed all work as agreed. They were completed by approximately 1230 Hours.

Both gentlemen were diligent and professional. They worked well together. The flues did not need to be cleaned but the worker adjusted the cap on one of the chimneys.

The workers arrived on time and went straight to work after explaining everything that would be done. They were courteous, clean, and professional. Upon completion of the job, they left the area spotless. I have used this company before, and recommended them to my neighbor, who had the same work done the day they came for me. My neighbors were also very impressed with the quality of the job. For any chimney work, I would only recommend this company.

After spending New Year's Eve away from my home, I returned on New Year's Day to a cold house that was without hot water. The company that I have my boiler contract with came within a few hours and determined that the boiler shut off because the flue was blocked. They gave me two chimney company recommendations, and Chimney King was one of them. I checked out the reviews on Angie's List and decided to give them a call.
Chimney King came out to my house on the same day I called them. Two workers came to my home to assess the situation and give an estimate. It was determined that my chimney liner was crumbling, most likely as a result of my recent gas conversion. I was told that the gas was drying out the liner, causing it to crumble. The Chimney King workers suggested that I replace the crumbling ceramic liner with a new stainless steel liner. They would also replace the cap.
I was initially quoted a price of $1300. After a little bit of negotiating, I was able to get the price down to $1080, which seemed reasonable based on other Angie's List reviews.
I was told that the liner could be replaced the following day, and that it could take about two hours to complete. Based on the location of my boiler and chimney, which is a tight, cramped area, the time could be more or less than the estimate. I was concerned about the timing of the entire issue because I was just returning to work after being off for the CHristmas holiday. I was nervous about taking more time off from work. The Chimney King worker said that they normally arrive at their first job between 7:30-8:00. I told him I had to go into work after the replacement. The worker told me that he could be at my home by 7:10, if that would work for me. It did.
The following day, the worker showed up with a partner at 7:10 on the dot. They worked diligently for about two hours. They were clean and did a very good job. They finished by 9:10, and I was at my own job by 10:00!
I would recommend this company. They were willing to work with me and meet my needs. The only thing that concerns me is that I was able to get a lower price than initially quoted. I wish companies would just give their best and lowest price. It makes me wonder if I could have talked them down to an even lower price. It also makes me mad that they would have taken $1300, had I not haggled. But I suppose this is the case with anyone who walks through the door to do work on your home. I still feel as if their pricing was fair based on the pricing I researched on Angie's List.
I would use this company again.

I would recccomend this company. Although I don't remember what I spent, I know it wasn't expensive. They came on time and cleaned up after themselves. No complaints.

They were prompt, clean, pleasant and professional. I thought my roof would get damaged because it is so old but it did not. They know what they're doing and they did an awesome job. The only way you could tell they were there was if you looked at my chimney pointing.and saw the perfection. I didn't expect to see such expert masonry, but there it was. There was never a mess, even while cleaning the chimney.

From phone to job completion, everything was pleasant and remarkable. They were very accommodating by juggling the scheduling around Hurricane Irene's wake when I had no electricity by first appointment. But they fit me in as soon as I regained power. Fortune shows it's face in mysterious ways. I am very impressed.
