It went very well. From quote request to project completion, to payment, John and his team were professional, polite, punctual and did a great job building my new stairs. The new stairs had to match others on the house he hadn't built, and frankly, he did a Fantastic job and I love my new steps! I highly recommend Valeri Construction. Already have the next project in mind for John to be done in the near future!

John was able to quote the job using photos that I texted him. Came on a Saturday with a helper and cut, installed and stained the shelf and associated trim. Looks great and he cleaned up like he was never there. Very conscientious guy.

From beginning to end John and his employee did a professional job that other contractors did not want to do, he explained exactly what he was doing, he returned every phone call and showed up on time. After job was completed he left my house clean. He came back at my request to fix 1 minor thing and made sure I was satisfied with everything. I would definitely use Valeri construction again.

Great! John has done many projects for us in the past but this was a major one. He was our general contractor for the entire project. We basically gutted our old kitchen, dining room and living room, raised the ceiling two and a half feet, and then built an addition that connected to the opened up space. He found us excellent subcontractors for every phase of the construction, e.g. the architect, framers, landscapers, electricians, plumbers, demolition, drywall, spackling, insulation, carpenters, roofing, gutters, flooring, tiling, countertops, painting, heat and air conditioning, motorized shades and home theater installation, you name it, he found us a top notch expert. Throughout the construction John was responsive to all of our questions and concerns and he took care to make sure that the job was always done right. His crew was always helpful and they would go out of their way to help and make sure everything was neat and tidy at the end of each day. But the most important thing Valeri Construction brings to the job is confidence that you will get the highest quality of work in the end. John oversaw the subcontractors who built us a brand new kitchen with new cabinets, countertops, backsplash, sinks, lighting and appliances. Another thing that we really appreciated was John's skill as a master carpenter. He and his crew installed a cedar ceiling throughout the entire indoor space, an entire wall of built in oak bookshelves with a rolling library ladder, along with a beautiful deck with ipe wood flooring. They also made extensive improvements on the exterior of the house, putting up cedar shingles, a bay window with a copper roof, and a spiral staircase that allows access to the deck. We are very happy with the end result and we highly recommend Valeri Construction for any home improvement project. John and his workers are a pleasure to work with and you will not be disappointed if you hire him for a project.

After I initially contacted him, John showed immediate interest in viewing the job site to bid on the job. He gave me a clear impression that he knew what he was doing, and he showed me he was keen to take my job on. It so happened that he had a free slot in his schedule while he was waiting for supplies for a larger job to be delivered. So, almost before I knew it, my job was done beautifully in half a day at a very fair price, and that was that! I will happily call John for my next carpentry job.

They returned all the calls and text messages. They were very prompt, they made everything looked brand new and we can't wait to use them again.

John took down a 15 year-old wood swing set in our backyard and cut it into three-foot pieces for our garbageman to take away. He put the pieces at the curb for us. He did the job in about an hour. He was very pleasant to deal with, answered his phone right away when I called, and communicated frequently via text. I would hire him again for carpentry work.

This review is long overdue, John did work for me several months ago and did outstanding job. I have a 45-year-old house that had a tremendous amount of rotting wood on the exterior. John suggested work to be done with PVC type replacements and everything went very very well. Extremely courteous and very professional nice crew helping him out did absolutely great job and would definitely recommend him.

John & team were terrific. John was super responsive and accommodating with scheduling. The finished project looked great and my wife and I were very happy with the price quoted. Would hire again, no question.

I was very impressed with John's knowledge of Carpentry, he had to come up with a solution to replace my linen closet door which was old and did not function anymore , this door could not be purchased at Home Depot etc., John takes pride in his work and I was very happy with the finished product even though it took several months ... John always responded by text to keep me updated about my custom door (back ordered) .. I definitely recommend him .. and will have him back to do other projects for me.

On top of doing very good work at a fair price, John's professionalism, punctuality and responsiveness are unmatched. It is in my opinion that it is difficult to find someone in this industry who excels at a few of these traits but very rare to find who is so proficient at all of them. I will hire him again.

John and his helper Ryan provided excellent work and service in every way. Friendly, conscientious, excellent attitude, and his carpentry work was performed with an eye for every detail. Would strongly recommend him if you're looking for excellence!

John performed the work in a very neat, organized manner and did a superb job. I worked in construction many years ago and can attest to the fact that his craftsmanship was of the highest caliber.

Very admirable, i checked the list and his name came up. He came out and looked at the garage door, he said it wasn't anything in his line of work. Anyway, I stated he had come up under garage doors. He said he didn't know how, but it was okay. He then asked about my previous siding job from a different company, and i said they had left some piles of wood, and that the planks were too large for the garbage people to take them away. He stated he could cut them in half for me since he had a saw in the back of his truck, and he did not want my money for the service. I offered him 10$ for the service but he refused. I would recommend this company, and feel the deserve to be at the top of the list. He went out of his way to give me some help and didn't require payment. So very nice of him!

They do a very good job. Their very prompt, very polite and they do a good job. Nothing they can do better, they do a great job. It takes them about an hour.

Excellent, as usual. John and his assistant, Phil, are hard-working, cheerful, and they do top-notch work. The chicken coop assembly took place without a hitch. John installed custom railings on our cedar porch ceiling for the mosquito curtains and they look great. He also built custom screens for windows in our sun room. He did so many other small things, e.g. fixed warped doors and door latches, etc. I can't list them all here. It is a pleasure working with John. He always discusses each job thoroughly and makes a good plan so that I know exactly what to expect. John is a fantastic carpenter and a jack of all trades. If you need any kind of house repair or construction, he can do it for you and you will get top quality work,
