TRADITIONAL TREE SERVICE

All went well. They moved very fast and knew what they were doing. The main cutter was very good. I treated the crew to 2 pizza's for lunch. I didn't perform a thorough investigation on price. Steve said that he could do the work within 2 weeks from signing and that factor was important to me as I perceived that the tree in question was partially uprooted and was leaning towards the house. I had to remove it quickly.

They did a great job and were fast and cleaned it up like they said they would.

I was very impressed. Steve (who I believe is the owner) came to do the estimate. Listened carefully and asked lots of questions to make sure he understood what we wanted done. Very courteous and easy to work with. The estimate was clear and (I thought) very reasonable. The estimate came in the middle of three estimates we had done but we decided to go with "Traditional Tree" because the estimate was written up much more clearly and I was impressed with the company's professionalism at the estimate. They came and completed the work all in one day. Steve returned to make sure the crew understood the job and checked in again later. The work was done very well and efficiently. The crew took the time to clean up thoroughly -- even raking up the area where they had taken down the oak tree. Completely satisfied.

The entire job was very well handled. There were 6 people sent to do this job and they showed up within the window of time given. They know what they are doing. Everything worked out very well. They were finished in 21/2 hours and cleaned up the backyard of any debris. I would us this service, again, and recommend them, too.

Let me say that if you are concerned at all about service, responsiveness, work ethic or job completion, look no further. Steve came to my home and I advised him that we were in a personal bind and needed this job done as soon as possible. He kindly placed us in the book for next week. My wife and I arrived home today to find them working on the trees and the entire job was completed within four hours. The cleanup was remarkable and the crew was top notch. Please think of contacting Steve, you cannot go wrong as I have used him three times now.

We had tree work done by this provider last year and were extremely pleased with the results. So when it came time to work on our prized oak, we gave Steve a call. He responded quickly for our estimate request and in about two weeks his crew arrived. They were all polite, professional and experienced for their specific tasks. Tree climbing, removing huge oak limbs which hung over our neighbor's deck and maneuvering them over a six foot fence was no small task. It went flawlessly! And the clean up was impeccable. This is a top notch organization.

Our situation was complicated ...the tree's were in our neighbor's yard (just over the property line) but most of the tree trunk was leaning over our house & heavy branch system extended into and over our house, roof, driveway ...we were very concerned about our safety in our house & had already paid out car insurance deductible due to fallen branches. Our neighbor was very unhappy with us doing anything. When Steve first came for an estimate, our neighbor was right there sparsing where the cuts would be...Steve was very patient, articulate and spent almost an hour negotiating with us. Actual tree trimming day went amazingly well. Steve's team is incredibly efficient...very skilled at what they do. Quite amazing to watch. After cleanup, it was hard to believe they had been there. This company would be my first option in the future & I would recommend them to anyone.

They arrived on time- a crew of maybe 10 people. Steve took a little time to survey the grounds. He had some of men put up some plywood to protect some cables on the side of the house. They set to work quickly. My son was fascinated by the men climbing up the trees. I found them to be cautious, responsive, and professional. I would absolutely hire them again.

They came quickly and did a good work. I think that the price was fair. They ended up doing a lot of work, everything in one day. They were pretty reputable.

He came for a full days work with a six man crew and heavy equipment. If they had not had the equipment, the clean up process would of been much longer. His crew is very good. He also carries full insurance and workers comp. Their price was $1,000 less than another company. I would certainly use them again.

They arrived when they said they would and completed the job in a day.

They were terrific! We had a difficult time finding someone willing to do the job. The price was right and they came back a few weeks ago (April 2013) to grind down the last of the stumps (when they removed the trees in February the ground was too muddy to safely finish the stump work). We are extremely pleased and highly recommend them.

They came and gave a fair estimate. The day they came to do the work we discussed some additional work which he had time to do that day so they completed that work for a very fair price. Workers did a good job of cleaning up after. I'm going have them back in the fall for some additional work.

Fast and they sure knew what they were doing. Great cleanup afterward. I had cheaper prices from some that were'nt licensed and insured in Suffolk but when it comes to having people swinging in the trees at 80 feet it pays to get someone who is an expert and is licensed and insured. We have nothing but good words for Steve and his crew.

I was very satisfied with the job done by this company. They did the job as described by the estimate and did not have any "surprise" extra charges. They were punctual and professional.

Took down 2 large trees which were up on a hill behind our house; both of which were not on our property. Since we had the owners permission to take down both trees, we wanted to make sure that their property was not in any way damaged. Steve's crew arrived on time, finished taking down both trees, and trimmed 2 trees in the front of our house in one day. His crew did an excellent job, were professional and very experienced in this type of work. Without hesitation would recommend them for any tree work.

Steve was nice, courteous and professional. He understood my needs and budgetary concerns during the estimate, and gave me a timeframe for doing the work. The actual work took place 3 weeks later, but I didn't consider that an issue, since we had been plagued by storms and then it was the holidays. Steve discussed the job with his team, and came back twice to make sure everything was completed to my satisfaction. The team cleaned everything up nicely. I would recommend Traditional Tree and use them again with no hesitation.

We had a wonderful experience with Traditional Tree and I would highly recommend Steve! He was very accommodating and took down trees in the bitter cold to meet a deadline set by our homeowners insurance. His work is exceptional and pricing great. He spent time with us to survey the property. We were shocked when he advised us to keep more trees than we had planned- he does his work responsibly and is not just out to make a buck. We love that he truly values his trade and respect his knowledge and honesty.

He's a very nice person. He was prompt and efficient and had a wonderful crew that were also very efficient. They were lovely and delightful. We recently called him after the storm and he came and gave us a quote. We feel that we're not being taken advantage of to get the trees cleaned up that are down because our gardeners gave us a quote for $3500 to do the same work that he's going to do for $1250. My husband will give him a call and he might be putting us last on his list because we didn't want to pay a fortune for somebody to come out immediately, but I'm sure he will come and soon. It's a big Weeping Willow tree that is about 80 ft. and it's lying on its side in the backyard and there are two stumps that have to be taken out because the trees are broke off from the middle down. We're very delighted that Steven will be coming.

We called Traditional Tree Service because we've used them before. We first found them on Angie's List. The owner, Steve is knowledgeable, accommodating, and straight forward. He does what he says he's going to do with no unpleasant surprises. Their people are friendly, polite, and focus on getting the work done. The job was not an easy one, and it was done without adding additional damage to the house. As always, sufficient men and equipment arrived to do the job quickly and safely. They arrived with ropes, hand and power saws and other similar equipment. The equipment needed to remove the downed trees arrived just as it was needed. The work was done quickly, considering the size of the trees they removed, and they cleaned up after themselves. We would be happy to recommend Traditional Tree Service to anyone looking for quality work from people they can trust.

After we made the call to Traditional Tree Service, Steve called us back and set up an appointment for an estimate. He came shortly after that. He seemed very knowledgeable and explained to us what had to be done. We agreed and two weeks later, the work was done to our satisfaction..It's a pleasure to deal with a company that values its customers. They called when they said they would, came when they said they would and did what they said they would do. This to me represents a top quality company.and I wouldn't hesitate to use Traditional Tree Service again.
