I told him I wanted to get the more expensive, covered gutters that would block leaves from entering. He observed that my backyard has several evergreen trees, and told me that the pine needles would still get into the covered gutters, so I got the cheaper, normal gutters instead. I appreciated his honest opinion.
He did the job in about half an hour, and he gutter looks great, and seems to work fine. He was also a nice guy.
