Al is highly qualified structural engineer and so easy to talk. I called Al to advise on a foundation and footing failure; and he immediately recommended a solution with his detailed report. His report was typed up quickly I used it as a blueprint to fix the house. Thank you so much

If you are looking for a licensed professional engineer that is honest and extremely knowledgeable, Al is the engineer to hire.  Al did a fantastic job providing a very detailed home inspection report within 1 day.   He is knowledgeable about all aspects of the home.  I highly recommend Al as the engineer to evaluate your potential future home.  It will be money well spent.

I needed to hire a licensed engineer to determine if a wall could come down in my unit at the request of the co-op board. I was a bit concerned since a number of people were telling me that it would be very costly to get an engineer to come and inspect the wall. That's when I went on Angie's List and found Al Triolo. I called him and explained to him the situation. He asked me to send him a basic sketch of a floor plan of my apt and from there he would have a better idea if he would be able to help me or not. He said he didn't want to come to my place and charge me if he wasn't able to give me a definite answer --which I appreciated. He made time to come meet me and told me when he arrived he would only charge me if he felt he could provide me with an answer. I thought that was more than fair. He inspected the wall and provided me with an official report that same night. He charged me only a few hundred dollars for what I thought was going to cost me a few thousand dollars. Because of him I got to start the work the very next day. If you are looking for a good, professional, honest and reliable engineer --Al is definitely your guy. I would without a doubt use him again and will refer him to anyone I know that can use his services.

He was prompt, thorough and his keen eye and sharp sense of humor made what could have been a stressful experience very easy. It is important to note that Al is a fully qualified engineer, not just a home inspector. He obviously has a lot of experience. The written report was delivered as promised with replacement estimates for the items he noted in the report.
