They were great! Did it quickly in one day. Very satisfied.

The techs were good but $1100 for a thermostat repair is outrageous even subtracting the $400 emergency for a Saturday job. The salesman struggled to justify the numbers. Due to this experience I will not consider Grasshopper for a large upcoming project (AC heat pump).

Grasshopper has a great formula for upselling. First their work appears to be quite good, and their techs are both professional and very friendly. However, every job - every one - is an opportunity to sell every conceivable service they offer. While itâ s easy for me to say no to a sales pitch, I can see disarming and friendly techs striking all the right notes on any customer caught up in the fear of dust, diseases, and mold lurking in ones HVAC system. Once the homeowner is dutifully disarmed and concerned, the sticker price to fix it seems more palatable. A simple Annual A/C cleaning this week resulted in $2,200 in this type selling (I didnâ t bite) Top that off with a 3.5% charge for using a credit/debit card - though they are happy to take cash or a check Will I use them again - yes. Am I mindful of everything they attempt to sell thatâ s a nice-to-have and not a need-to-have? Absolutely. Their techs are very good, but prices are insanely high, and I would venture to guess that their training includes how to up sell, and a commission for each thing they sell that was above and beyond the original work order. .

Replaced a leaky gasket in furnace, and performed routine maintenance and service. The techs were knowledgeable and explained the work they were doing, and the reason for the recommended repairs. The techs arrived within the service time window estimate, and gave a "heads up" call about 20 minutes before arrival. They also provide a picture of the tech prior to the appointment time. They put booties over their shoes upon entering your house and leave the work area cleaner than when they arrived. Everyone at Grasshopper, from the office people to the techs, was friendly and professional. They made you feel like they actually cared about customer satisfaction. I did feel that the repair cost, relative to the amount of time spent, was on the high side, although I really have no reference to compare to. I would definitely use them again, and recommend that you consider calling them for service and/or repair.

Repaired my gas hw/bb furnace. Very thorough with a packet for the homeowner to use for reference. Excellent!!!!! I'm warm and toasty now.

Matt came to check out my boiler and was completely professional and upfront. I will definitely use Grasshopper Heating and cooling again

Alex Collier was person who did the repair and was able to diagnose and fix issue on an old converted coal to gas furnace

They quickly came in and assessed the situation and got it fixed. Afterwards, I had a question, and they were able to call me right back and tell me how to adjust what I need to do. I loved that he showed me how to do something instead of doing it and charging me for it. As a female run household, I was grateful and did not feel taken advantage of.

I did not have the service for the apartment - contract rules. However, there is a problem with your services. Grasshhopper, Home Avisor and Angi did not coordinate with my questions and issues. Mixed messages and/or confusion exist there. I doubt I would recommend Angi at this time.

My Technician was prompt, courteous and very helpful in explaining what was happening with my system. I will use them for all my heating needs.

Did a wonderful and professional job

We had a new furnace combi installed in our basement and We were exceptionally impressed with Kevin and Aaron and the 2 other gentlemen who helped. They were considerate and cleaned up after each work day. We engaged in a little conversation and both these guys were so nice! They went out of their way to do things right.

Technician was knowledgeable and helpful.

Robert was punctual and knowledgeable; he explained to me the diagnostics he will need to perform, the results of the diagnosis, and what the recommended service was. The price was reasonable and he did a very good job. I would certainly consider this company again if I need A/C work done in the future.
