I accompanied him during the inspection, which was exceedingly thorough; he walked me through every step of the inspection, explaining everything that he was doing and demonstrating what he was (or was not) seeing. I was advised that the inspection would take about four hours; in fact, he spent far longer than this (a relatively small, 1600 square foot house), inspecting all facets of the house and garage. It was a thoroughly educating experience and I received a wealth of advice and knowledge from observing him. He provided the written report promptly (no small task as it runs 14 pages single-spaced, and in the two years since having the house inspected I have not encountered any unexpected surprises. Highly recommended.
