Tell us the story from start to finish (10,000 character limit): Randy is a very pleasant person He responded immediately to our request and stated that even though he had never assembled this particular shed in the past, that he had experience assembling multiple other sheds. We agreed to $35 hr for shed assembly. As all reviews on this shed stated it was easy to assemble and could be assembled in 6-10 hrs, we agreed. Randy came to review project and recommended adding a wood base to level the ground under the shed. He originally recommended adding plywood to this but agreed that base could be leveled by filling the rocks back in that were taken out. We agreed to this and asked him to make sure to fill in with stone. I do not believe this was done because the floor sinks. He did not after our initial conversation suggest that plywood should still be used. After 8 total days the shed doors do not close correctly and there are gaps between the floor and walls. He has wedged wood to cause door to shut. He has not installed door locks, shutters, shelves, etc. Winter is approaching and shed will definitely leak. It will be difficult to open and close doors. And very concerned that floor boards will not hold up because rocks were not leveled between wooden floor supports to allow for dipping. He immediately cashed the check for the agreed upon amount of $600 and has left project incomplete with many faults. There is a problem when someone charges An hourly rate as opposed to per job, when they do not know how to complete the job. He stated he was experienced but did not seem to know how to assemble. Causing cost to rise and many days to be added to a 1 day project.

"thank you for your review. in the interest of clarity, I'd like to deliver my side of the story. i was contacted by the homowner who wanted a plastic shed assembled. Although ive built many sheds over the years, this was the first plastic shed i worked on. as there was no level areas in the yard, there was an area where large landscaping blocks had been assembled. there were actually 2 walls which met at the corner and were level. i decided that would be my starting point. As most of the crushed stone was higher than the level blocks I had to dig trenches 4 inches deep for the frame and 12 floor joists and keep them level. that was day 1. after I completed floor frame home owner said they didn't want a true "floor" they had assembled a smaller shed and placed it directly on the crushed stone. I told them that the manufacturer said the most Important part of any structure is the base. i was told to heap up crushed stone between each 2x4. the only way to make the stones stable would he to use a power tamper which I didnt have the luxury of, as homeowner was complaining about time. days 2 and 3 I had my helper. we completed shed with the exception of door locks and some inferior shelves with weight limit of 10 pounds. day 4 as Monday. i came back and put in another 4 hours free of charge. so there were a total of 4 days work, 3 of which i was paid for. The homeowner is complaining about doors having a gap at bottom where rodents can get in. i watched chipmunks running in and out of garage which had a rot hole at the bottom."
