It takes a lot for me to write a bad review of a business because I understand that things go wrong. That’s life, but I am at the end of my rope with DAS builders.We unfortunately paid Dakota Smith in full before the project was done.He was short in cash to pay his staff etc. so we advanced him money to pay them.Well, we are naive as well as my $30,000 project is still not complete.We are missing facia on the porch, one railing was never installed, molding never put up, I have exposed wood, I have a facia board bowing out from the front of the porch, a detached gutter that overflows when it rains into the exposed wood, sloppy cuts, sloppy work, metal pieces sticking up out of my roof as he never reinstalled our gutter helmets, our stone pillar is cracking, the bottom stair is crooked and final installation never completed.We have texted Dakota endlessly and have given him every opportunity to make this right but he does not respond. We treated them with the utmost respect.hurt & broke

Dakota Smith of DAS is a felon and a fraud. He scammed me out of a large deposit and should be arrested. Never trust a "Recommended Pro" from Angi.
