We go to the Ace Hardware store, as an sometime alternative to all the big box stores in the area. They really know their products and provide high-energy service. To buy propane we simply went to the cash register, told the guy what we wanted, he rang up the sale, and then broadcast over the backroom/outdoor speaker that we would be waiting by the tank in the back. We drove over to the tank, and an attendant was already waiting and quickly and efficiently filled up our tank, taking care for safety throughout all the handling. Service on both the front and back end was courteous, accurate, and efficient. Of course, prices are up this year, but that's the way the energy market is going and Ace Hardware's price was in line with the competition.
