I contacted Canoe Associates to obtain insurance for a rental property that I own. I went to their office in Clifton Park and gave them copies of the home appraisal and the renewal from my current carrier. Several weeks passed and Canoe never got back to me. I left messages over a period of several days. When they got back to me, they told me that they could not find insurance for me. I told them that I would like to pick up the documents that I gave to them. They stated that they don't have my documents (apparently they lost or threw my documents out). Canoe took so long to get back to me that I ran out of time to continue looking for cheaper insurance and I had to stay with the same insurance company that charges an arm and a leg.

I got a great deal on life insurance through Nationwide with Canoe Associates. He was easy to deal with and there was always someone there to answer questions.
