Since I'm unable to contact the person, I'm going to say that it did not go well

Do not hire under any circumstances. Took my money over 4 months ago, damaged my garage, which I paid to fix and so far I am out over $8,000. Sells a good game but you will regret it. Do you due diligence and research first. Wish I had, he has so many judgements against him that if I knew it I never would have hired him. Works under other company "names" as well.

The workers knocked over my neighbors mailbox, and left without telling us. (They actually left it with the mailbox propped 1 foot off the ground so they knew they had damaged it). After repeated calls they put up a post but not the mailbox. We were told we would be paid $150 dollars because we finally had to fix it. We were never paid. Again many phone calls resulted in no response. Unprofessional behavior in my book.

The crew showed up on time and did a great job. The entire crew was very professional. The work was completed in May 2016. I remain pleased with the results.

I was excited with the job Brian Hayes Paving and his crew proposed. As it was they had to come back to correct and it appears I was shorted on one of my driveways. It is now about a year later and I have called Brian over and over about a dip in the driveway (something we expected could happen) "just call and we'll take care of it". No on returns my calls. I even had friends call for a quote from him, they got the quote and when questioned, never any follow up. Not sure what happened to this man or company. If you are looking for follow up or any communication after the job, beware.

They were excellent. Showed up when they said they would and finished in about 4 hours. Eight man crew each knew their job and did an outstanding job. I would highly recommend the company.

They scheduled the work so I would be here before going on vacation. They arrived when promised, and worked until the project was completed. They were very professional. Several men doing various parts of the work completed the job in good time, and they took care to properly join the driveway to a sidewalk and the road. I am very pleased with the end result, and because this was part of a neighborhood group deal, I got a very good price for the job.

Very badly. Same issues as other members have mentioned in their reviews. I was told the company is no longer in business, which would explain why no one is getting a response from them. I believe the top coat of my driveway was installed when the company was nearing the end of its existence, and that an inferior product was used.

- driveway did not dry when he said it would and he said he would come back to spread it out.

Spring of 2012 driveway was raveling, tire marks were showing in the driveway and we developed a sinkhole in one part of the driveway. Driveway was not even and we developed huge puddles after it rained. After several calls Hayes came to evaluate the situation and they then offered to patch the problem areas (which was a good portion of the driveway). We stated that we wanted the entire driveway milled and then repave the driveway with a good quality blacktop (not the soft substandard asphalt that they used the first time). We also wanted to have 3" of new asphalt They agreed to redo entire driveway by milling it, but would only put down 1 1/2" of new asphalt and said that was the standard and it would be fine and would give us a 2 year warranty (instead of one year). They did this in August of 2012 after several reminder phone calls. Well the second job is no better than the first time, maybe even worse. You can't even put a bicycle on it's stand in the driveway because it will sink and leave a hole. The warranty came through as one year (not the 2 as promised) and we keep calling the company back to no avail. They don't answer the phone, you leave a message and they will not call back. I even sent an e-mail to the office and it was returned as not a valid e-mail address. Our warranty expires in 1 month and can't get them to come and talk to us and evaluate the second job that they did. Would never recommend this company to even my worst enemy!

Last year on September 19 ,2012 Hayes Paving sealed my two driveways. It was a cool day and that night it rained.
As a result of the cool weather and rain some of the sealing material washed off . The following days were cool and wet. I inspected the driveways this spring and noted the poor condition, actually worse it was than I had anticipated. Large patches of sealer have come off, some of which may or may not be rain related.
I have phoned twice in the last three months requesting a visit to inspect the driveways and I have received no response. I wrote a letter last month and have not received any response to date.

The estimator (Mike) who left the company before we had the work done told us that the the company's process is to remove the old driveway and then let it sit for 2-3 weeks before doing any work. The reason for this is we are on clay, it would allow the clay to dry out. This would reduce the chances that the sub base would sink into the clay. When we signed the contract (first week of August 2011) we were told that they were running about 4 weeks out for scheduling. We had a very wet Fall and come early October, we hadn't heard from Hayes. I contacted Hayes in early October, and told them we'd be willing to wait until Spring as we had a very rainy August and September; however, they said they could do the work before the asphalt plants closed for the season. In mid-October our driveway work was scheduled to begin October 30. I asked about scheduling the asphalt installation as I assumed the work on October 30 would be only the removal of the old driveway. You can imagine my surprise when the scheduler told me the new driveway would be installed on October 31. I asked about the wet ground - Hayes told me it wouldn't be a problem. I then asked why the work schedule is different from what the estimator said would happen. I was told that Mike was no longer with the company, and letting the driveway sit wasn't necessary.
When the work was done, the crew cut the electric line that ran under the driveway to the our lamp-post, but 'they fixed it.' They didn't tell me until the end of the first day - after they installed the landscape cloth and put the crusher run in. On the second day they brought the compactor and compacted the stone then installed the 2 layers of asphalt. The 2 layers of compacted asphalt was to measure 3.5" - it barely measures 3". Also, the guy who fixed the broken electrical line clearly didn't know what he was doing as the compacting of the stone and/or asphalt undid his fix as my lamp-post doesn't work and we didn't discover that until later in the evening after the work was completed.
We were told it would take a few months for the driveway to completely cure. Six months after the installation, our driveway was still so soft that our car tires were leaving/making ridges on it. I contacted Hayes asking for a someone to come and take a look at it - 3 times! Each time a message was taken, but we never got a call back - I gave up.
It's been 1.5 years since Hayes installed our driveway. It took a full year to cure - and even though we sealed it last fall, the driveway is still on the soft side. We suspect two things are causing this -- the ground was too wet when the work was done and the amount of compacted asphalt is not sufficient -- but we'll never know because Hayes wouldn't call us back.
For the premium pricing we paid, we were not impressed.

We called Hayes and got a call back from Black Dawg Sealcoating - their sealcoating division or subcontractor. In any case, the guys at Black Dawg provided a quote over the phone, performed the work within a week and performed their work well. We have one patch of our driveway which will need more extensive repair next season, and I was happy to see that they were liberal with their patching compound on that section as I am concerned about frost heaving there over the winter. The sealcoating was applied uniformly over the entire driveway and there was no spillage onto the garage concrete or into the grass. Overall I would rate their work as excellent to outstanding. They were priced slightly higher than another local company from which I got a quote, but it was the end of the season and they were able to schedule and complete the work more quickly.

They were professional, clean and thorough. They were in constant communication with me. The estimator took the time to explain the options and procedures to me. The job was completed ahead of schedule.

The owner was very good about working around our house being sided, gardeners coming and going, the person roto-tilling. He was very accessible by email to work around the weather, etc. When I thought some of the sealant splattered our new siding his crew came right back. It turns out it was mud from all the rain. They were great and our driveway looks a lot better than another time it was sealed by a different company many years ago. Also, his office staff was very responsiveness.

Did just what they said they would do, when they would do it and for the estimate quoted. Even gave me a few more feet at the end than I asked for.

They came late due to weather conditions, but when they did arrive, they were very methodical with their workers. They came in shifts as to what their responsibilities were, did their job, cleaned up after themselves and the next crew would come in. The results were excellent and we highly recommend them.

Haye's did a good job. They were very professional, punctual and the price was good. The only problem I found was with the spray on product, it did not last as long as I was hoping. The company did not make any false promises on the length of time the sealer would last.

THEY RESPONDED AT THE END OF THE SUMMER. THEY RESPONDED WITHIN TWO WEEKS AND PUT US ON THEIR SCHEDULE. THE PRICE WAS FAIR FOR THE SIZE OF DRIVEWAY, THE AMOUNT OF WORK THEY DID AND THE TIME OF YEAR.
