We had to use this company due to a warranty claim. Stay clear of this company if you want your appliance fixed. After weeks of going round and round and their shop only being open a couple days a week always due to one thing or another they closed out our ticket with the warranty company and we still have a broken washer. The warranty center sent out another well known appliance company and the gentleman said it was too bad that we had to use North Shore Appliance along with other info he knew about them from working in the same field of work. In my opinion do not waste your time or money with this company!

Came to fix our fridge. "Adjusted the pressure" and charged us $76.00. After 24 hrs. the fridge still didn't work. My husband trusted this man and filled the fridge with groceries, thinking it was fixed. $80.00 worth of groceries down the drain. We've called twice and no return call. Had to call another company and it turned out the button on the door had broken and it wasn't connecting properly. This guy doesn't know what he is doing. I wish I had checked him out on the Better Business Bureau site. We're not the only ones he has done this to. Numerous complaints are online about this "business". Stay away, or just flush your money down the toilet. It's less painful (They also have numerous physical addresses and telephone numbers, which is very suspicious.)

Randy from North Shore was excellent. We had a low water sensor error on our dishwasher. He tried an initial step to reset the error and save us from having to purchase a part. That did not work so he came back promptly and replaced the part that was needed without charging us on the second visit.

North Shore Appliance did a great job.  We had them out to the house a couple of years ago for an issue with our stove, and it was covered under warranty.  This most recent issue was not under warranty.  One side of our dual ovens was not heating.  It ended up being a bad circuit board.
North Shore came out and diagnosed the issue, ordered the parts, and within another week or so everything was fixed.
My wife commented that of all of the various repair companies we have ever worked with, North Shore is always the most punctual and professional.  They arrive on right on time every time, and they are in and out quickly.
We would definitely use them again.

Over the last year North Shore Appliance has been out to my home 3 or 4 times to and quot;fixand quot; my stove. The first time or two they didn't have the parts and then once the parts were ordered and received, they came back out. During this visit they came out to install the parts, over a year later, and the technician couldn't get all four of the burners off to get to the part of the stove they needed. The last time I spoke to them was a few days before Thanksgiving, of this year, and I have yet to hear back from them.

Randy came to our home more than ten times to attempt to repair our Sub Zero refrigerator. He basically swapped parts in and out over and over again, never finding or fixing what ended up being a simple problem (repaired quickly and easily by another company).

He has been super. I've used him 3 or 4 times and he has always been great. One time he came on July 4th to fix it. He has to drive so I call and get on the list for when he is going to be in the area. I will always use him.

Randy was right on time for his appointment with me. He diagnosed the issue with the 14 year old Maytag Neptune, and we mutually agreed it simply wasn't worth fixing. This is not his first visit to my home, and it won't be his last. Randy is very competent, professional and fair. I highly recommend him to anyone who asks.

We have an ASKO dishwasher and we received a "recall" notice from the company. Randy came on schedule (and he always arrives when he says or earlier). Following the replacement of the control part, the dishwasher ran all night. Randy returned several times, removing water from the drain pan, and is still diagnosing the problem. He replaced a worn out pump, but things still aren't right. He has performed most of his service without charge. He replaced the pump at his cost and without a labor charge. I am confident and most pleased with his attention to the problem and am sure that we will have a satisfactory conclusion.
