After viewing the damage when siding was removed we needed to decide on a treatment plan and how to repair the damaged interior structure. A picture window not slated for replacement had to be removed, 2 X 6's needed to be cut out and replaced, and windows reframed. We renegotiated an anticipated price with the contractor keeping track of additional hours and materials. It turned out to be a much larger job than anyone anticipated but the results were great. The contractor sought out the cause of the water leakage which caused the rotting and corrected that problem. Once windows could be replaced the interior finish work was superior - match pre-existing trim well. Also noteworthy - this is a contractor who is timely and keeps his work site picked up and clean.
