Joe was super personable and really listened. The previous owners of our new home had pets and the smell was just overwhelming to us in the living room, but we could tell that the carpet was of good quality. He showed up on time, cleaned the carpet fairly quickly with a cleaning solution specifically for pet odors, and left me with instructions for drying and a post-vacuum.

Joe, the owner of the company, arrived ahead of schedule, completed the work in a very short time. I was shocked at how beautiful the carpet ended up after Northeast cleaned it. We had lived for about 4 years with some of the dirty areas of the carpet, not really knowing how to go about getting it cleaned. We are thrilled with the results and - even though we hope the carpets will stay clean so we won't need him - we will certainly call them much more readily the next time. Not only was the carpet as good as new but the cost was very reasonable.

I've been meaning to write this for a long time.... the result of this cleaning job was disappointing. There were certain stains that I was told might not come out, and they did not, which is fine. There were other stains, however, that should have come out, and general dirt that did not. I used a Bissell big green on the carpets later on and was amazed at the amount of stuff that was extracted. One stain in particular is now gone that still existed after this service had cleaned the carpet. The carpets look 10 times better after I did it myself. I'm not sure if the elevation of the rooms had an effect on the effectiveness (rooms are 3rd floor from ground level), but their system seemed pretty ineffective.

"we apologize for any misunderstandings on our part. any spots that couldnt be removed or may reappear as a result of the cleaning , we are happy to return for a reservice in a reasonable amount of time! we always stand behind our work and use products that are safe for all carpets and textiles. it doesn't surprise us that you had some results with your bissell and own cleaning agents as most over the counter consumer cleaners are not safe or recommended by the carpet manufacturer."

I had an expensive and heavily soiled area rug that had to be taken out of my home to be cleaned. This I expected. I did not expect, when I unrolled the rug after it was delivered and after it had been paid for on Angie's List, to find that ABSOLUTELY NOTHING had been done to it. It was in the exact same condition, no mistake about it--I don't even believe they had even bothered to vacuum it. I have never been ripped off so brazenly. Were I able to prove my case in court, I would sue them, but I don't know how you can make a case for something like this. I'm out almost 300 dollars and have hired another company to take care of the carpet. I will, however, be reporting them to the BBB.

Great. I have used other cleaning services before but have not been pleased with results. Joe was very professional and did a great job in all areas. My furniture looked almost new!

I bought the coupon that gave $200 toward cleaning for $100. The bill after applying the $200 was $335. So actual bill would have been $535. I paid $435. "With the sale".. That seems expensive for 2 hour of work by one person. Carpets look fine, and I'm satisfied with the result. Will price compare before doing this again though.

Northeast carpet cleaning showed up for the evaluation/estimation and the job when they said they would. The evaluation/estimate took about an hour and we agreed on a date and price to do the work. Joe showed up when he said he would to start the work, and he "completed" the job in a little more than an hour. I paid him. In hindsight paying such a hideous price for such minimal work is sickening to me but that's beside the point. Now I'll admit some fault in paying him before checking his work, but I expect a certain standard to be upheld when I pay someone to do a job. Later, when I opened up the ductwork I was surprised to see that it looked like nothing had been done to clean out the pipes. I called Joe to come back and do the job correctly, which to his credit he returned promptly. In the meantime I decided that I wanted a refund and I would do the work myself. After I showed Joe how dissatisfied I was with his work, he gave me a full refund. The pictures I've attached are post "cleaning". Wish I could make 300 bucks for doing jack nothing.

"The condition of these apts. was deplorable, not sure why the Complex wanted to clean them. Worst condition i have ever seen in my 15 years in this industry! The carpets looked like something you would see in an AUTO Mechanics shop, really it was that bad, and the smell was unbelievable. We did the very best we could with the situation, we told the maintenance crew on site that we probably weren't going to be able to do much with the carpets. Not sure how the tenants were living in those conditions, the Dept. of Health may of been involved and that's why they were vacant."

I've been hiring Joe for the last 3 years for carpets and upholstrey cleaning. This year in addition to my couch and arm chair, I also requested that he clean my air ducts. Both jobs were done beautifully. All signs of toddler spills and snot were removed from our couch, arm chair and throw pillows. He even found an old styrofoam coffee cup in the vents, which tells me they had never been cleaned since the house was built 24+ years ago. As someone with annoying dust and mold allergies, I've been breathing easier since he was here. He even offered to change the furnace paper air filter for me. Joe is professional who does great work and I recommend him to all my friends.

"Unfortunately for us there has been no pleasing this customer. She stated that is was "ok" to have the rug pad cut short because it is in a high traffic area, as doing this will help to prevent a TRIP HAZARD. Several large pieces of furniture needed to be moved in order to provide this service, which we did not charge for. What was not said in this review was the cleaning of the rug (with pad replacement) went wonderfully and a wine stain was removed in the process. As for the small rug with the dirty fringe, customer did not pay for the Fringe cleaning service. Not sure what else we could of done for this customer"

Jim arrived early explained what he was going to do. He started right away. All the carpet looked like new when he was done. There was one tough spot that wouldn't move. He tried several times. I am very happy with my carpets.
