Very helpful when ordering, helped us calculate the amount of product we needed. They delivered promptly and I my husband thought it looked a little short for our project, so they came back with more mulch at no extra charge. Nice company to work with.

They are on time and they dumped the mulch in the right place.  But this year we got it from their location directly and transported it ourselves.  Their mulch is of good quality and as expected.  I think there was more mulch than we anticipated.

Not really cheaper than buying in bags, but more convenient. Color seems to last longer than bag mulch.

Excellent products and service.   I use them every year for my garden needs...   Wouldn't use anybody else.

Initially they were very responsive but I had asked for additional estimate which never was scheduled.  I was out of the country for 3 weeks but my husband was home with directions for when they set up the time to do the initial work.  They didn't contact him and when I called they were booked until after Memorial Day.  They called back and said they would make time to get it done earlier. 
The shrub trimming was done very well.  I think if they were coming to mow the lawn and edge the beds it would have been fine but I needed help with weeding and prepping the flower beds.  When I asked questions I was told they generally sprayed to kill most weeds.  They went through the beds with a grass trimmer instead of pulling the weeds. 
I didn't have the time to stand out and supervise as they went through the beds. 
I may have misunderstood and thought they did more than lawn care which is what it seemed like they were better at.

Provider never showed - never called nothing! I have seen and ultimately used a more reliable 12 year old - who ( after tip) made $40.

Bought the package on Oct 13,2014 and received the service on  5/19/2015 after multiple calls and multiple no show ups.
And at the end service performed was not satisfactory by any standard. Received less than 8 hours of labor hours (3 person * 1.5 hours), left back yard as it is and when requested for a bush removal, I was asked extra $ money where in the printed coupons removal of plants and bushes was included.
Angie's List should look into a policy where they do not just list deals/coupons from any companies unless it is verified. So that customer like me does not get stagnant with a deal that was bought through Angie?s List. Until that time it is safe to say that
I am not going to by any prepaid deal through Angie?s List again. I would recommend others to do the same.
Also another confusing item was this company received very good reviews from others here and their customer service was at least helpful. So do not know why their service was so poor in my case. Anyway in a way I am glad I am done with the service so that I do have to call them or wait on them going forward.

I used the loam to top dress my flower and shrub beds. The loam is an excellent mixture of loam,vermeculite and compost.  I was 

very pleased with it and will purchase more this summer for my garden.

Jake was awesome to work with.  Pricing was fair.  Krantz was not the lowest bid but we felt we got our money's worth for the amount of work that was done.  Jake kept in constant contact with us and updated us everyday with the daily work schedule and progress.  We had to bring in a multitude of yards of dirt to level out our backyard for better drainage.  In the end, we have a dry backyard, with nice soft soil for a wonderful lawn.  On the edge of our property, Krantz installed a berm and some spruce trees for privacy.  We will definitely be contacting them again when it's time for our new patio.

The truck pulled in exactly on time. He dumped the mulch in my driveway exactly where I asked him to. Mulch was much better quality than I expected. Now in September it looks as good as the day it went down in June.

Good measure,, topsoil had a little more clay than I expected but was useable.
delivery was prompt.

The service was excellent.  Purchasing the topsoil and having it delivered was simple.  The staff was courteous.  The driver showed up on time and did exactly what he was asked to do, no questions asked.

J.F. Krantz delivered a yard of topsoil for me.  They were very prompt and right on time as far as delivery, and I was very satisfied with the quality of the topsoil.  Prior to ordering from them I had driven out to their location and to two other companies to actually look at the topsoil.  Theirs was equal or better in quality, and their price was more reasonable.  I would order from them again if I need more topsoil.

The day of delivery was forecast for rain so J. F. Krantz called to see if I wanted to re-schedule delivery.  I thought that was very considerate of them.  The topsoil was of excellent quality and the truck driver was very friendly and courteous.  I would definitely do business with them again.

They delivered the following day and were very professional.  However, they did not call ahead as I had requested and I'm not sure that I actually got the full amount I requested.  Despite this, I would probably use them again after addressing my concerns about this load.
