Description of Work: We were building an addition that included a bathroom. This company roughed in copper water lines and PVC drain lines and tied into our sewer line. The craftsmanship was for the most part equal or better than typical standards. A few matters proved less than desirable: they accidentally connected the drains to another cast iron pipe that looked similar to a sewer line, but in fact carried water from our gutters to a cistern. Fortunately I discovered this error several months later when doing other work in our crawl space. A lesser concern, but not ideal, was the use of a check valve at the top of the drain vent pipe which would emit gases directly into our unventilated attic. (We have spray foam insulation and no eaves vents in the attic.) Although this device meets current code requirements, it is not ideal, especially for our situation. Several other contractors working at our site commented on it and advised us to correct it. Both problems have been fixed by other contractors.
