Thoroughly cleaned the chimney and did not leave any mess anywhere in the living area.

Frank was prompt and professional. He was extremely thourough and went above my expectations. I would highly recommend their services. I have had other companies do my chimney cleaning and they were good. They are truly a step above them.

Frank was great! He cleaned out the fireplace, removed several dead squirrels in the upper section of the chimney and swept the chimney clean. He placed a vent/hood on top of the chimney to stop the critters from entering. He was fast and professional.

The job was done the day after I called. Took about two hours. It was a little tricky because we have a steep metal roof. Very friendly.

Well, Frank delivered a heck of a lot more than what I was expecting. In addition to cleaning the chimney he: 1) emptied out the ashes from the basement, 2) fixed the metal screen in front of the fireplace so it opens and closes smoothly, 3) unstuck our gas valve that was stuck shut, 4) fixed the damper linkage so it closes all the way, 5) closed the damper (I had left it open for years), 60 visually inspected the chimney on the roof, 7) informed us our chimney cap was missing, and 8) sold us a chimney cap on the spot. He would have installed it for us, but coincidently, my roofer was coming later that day to check on the gutters, so I had the roofer install it. Frank literally did a top to bottom safety check on the entire fireplace/chimney system, and did a very thorough job. Highly recommend.

Great!! Frank came out and provided an estimate in a hour!! He came back the next day, did the work, and left a bill. He was extremely easy to deal with. I highly recommend this company.

These guys are great. I don't envy the work, but he was able to clean out the fireplace, locate a couple of squirrel remains, place a top hat on the chimney to stop the entrance of the critters, inspected the fireplace and cleaned it out. Very thorough!

Frank's schedule was packed already, but due to our safety concerns with an obstructed chimney he found time to fit us in -- we really appreciated that (thank you!). He called when he had an idea when he'd be over, and arrived a few minutes early (awesome!). After putting down a drop cloth, Frank began his work making sure that our carpet and surroundings stayed clean. In the end, we had a very clean chimney, he found no obstructions, and I was pleased to see he cleaned the glass doors too, which made everything look fantastic! So here are the reasons we didn't give a 5-star review: (1) Gas lighting pipe broke: This was working fine prior to the cleaning, but when we lit our first fire two weeks later we noticed a HUGE gaping hole in the middle of the pipe where a large amount of gas came out when we opened the key to light the fire; although it makes for a glorious center flame, it prevents all the other holes from getting enough gas to distribute the fire. The pipe is older and has signs of decay, so I presume this got damaged during the cleaning. (2) No testing.. The damaged pipe would have been obvious if testing was done post-cleaning. I'd like to see improved Quality Assurance by testing all fireplace components post-cleaning. (3) Persuaded opinion on the quality of work.. Repeatedly we were told by Frank "money well spent... dollars well spent" to make us feel good about spending the $$ on his work. I didn't think that was necessary but maybe it's a method to help make happy customers? $170 for 2 hours of work .. not sure if I agree with his assessment, especially after discovering the damaged pipe. (4) Quote for replacing rusting chimney chase top -- although he didn't physically inspect the top of my chimney, he eyeballed my chase from outside and recommended we replace our chimney chase top in the Spring with a custom-fit $895 Stainless Steel one. Looking online, I see similarly functional items selling between $150 and $500, I believe the presented option was on the higher-range of solutions, and no others were presented. Overall, I thought Frank did a good job for what we had him come for. He cleaned the chimney and educated me on some possible causes of the smoke back-flow we experienced. We're a bit miffed by the damaged pipe and lack of testing, however, which is why we gave a lower rating overall.

Wonderful. This man is meticulous. He even cleaned the glass and brass. He further checked out other items related to the overall chimney maintenance and made some great preventive suggestions.

Mr Laurich arrived on time, did an inspection and cleaning. The chimney was due for a cleaning and it showed. After the cleaning, the fireplace worked much better with a much improved draw and no smoke coming back into the room. When Mr Laurich was done with the job, he left it clean and the fireplace like new....I would highly recommend his services.

Frank showed up 20 minutes early! He was very thorough. He did an inspection of the entire system and made some very helpful recommendations. If you're looking for a chimney sweep or any repair, Frank is your guy.

 Frank arrived promptly.  He checked everything out.  Made his recommendations.    Another vender wanted to custom make a new cap for 500.00 +. 

Frank told me that it only needed to be sealed.  He also sealed the inside exhaust  pipe where the bottom part was rusted out . 

He cleaned up everything, AWESOME SERVICE!  He was professional, prompt, knowledgable and above all completely HONEST!

I would use him again and again and again!

Frank is a TOP-NOTCH provider. Tackled a tough job due to a few obstacles from original build. Provide additional services at a fair price. Used drop clothes to protect floors. Cleaned up the entire area that he worked in and looks better now that before he started.  I will call him for my future chimney needs.

The technician arrive right at 9:00.  He was extremely friendly and was extremely thorough in cleaning the chimney.  He also replaced a piece in the wood stove free of charge (normally it is $40).
