Was not getting any heat out of my boiler. Don showed up and was very knowledgeable about the situation. He did all the preventative maintenance that needed to be done and set the boiler back to operating specs. Don was very professional and friendly. Craig was totally professional. Wanting to understand every facet of what was happening, Craig was very gracious to explain to me what was going on. From start to finish, inspecting and cleaning an older furnace, replacing a leaking gas line connection, installing a thermostat and even checking my vents for a determination if I should have them cleaned - it was a great experience. Craig was knowledgeable, thorough in his work and neat.

Woke up to a cold house and a gas smell in my basement. Natl Grid found that the gas smell was due to the furnace not firing up and I would need a furnace repair person. Called Syracuse Energy Systems and they came over within the hour, found the issue and repaired it. On a cold winter Saturday, I appreciate the quick response, great service and 24 hour availability. They always do a great job, have used them before and will use them again. Thank you!

I called Tom at Syracuse Energy Systems because I know him and I know he's legit. What I always liked about Tom is that no matter what, he always came. It may have been a few hours, but he always showed up the same day. If I couldn't figure out the boilers, he would come. I have his number in my cell phone, and give it to anyone, even my parents.

The installation of my new furnace was done professionally --was not a rush job--they took their time, and I have not had any problems with it in the 3 1/2 years since it was installed. Every time I have them do a tune-up on my furnace/air conditioner, they are very professional and thorough.

My 95 year old Mother's air conditioner stopped working. She called a company who came to her house and told her she needed a new furnace/air conditioner to the tune of $8,000. I had Syracuse Energy Systems go over and check things out--they repaired the problem at a cost of $200--it has worked perfectly ever since, and that was 4 years ago!!

We moved into our house at the beginning of June and have not been satisfied with the A/C system performance. I called Syracuse Energy Systems on 8/2/11 to make an appointment to have the system serviced to make sure it is in good operating condition. My call rang through to the answering machine and I left a message explaining what I wanted to have done. I received a call back the same day and Tom was able to schedule the service appointment for the following day. Tom slotted me for the 10 - Noon service appointment window. I had to go to work in the morning before the appointment and got back to the house at 9:55 am. The technician from Syracuse Energy was waiting in the driveway when I arrived home - I'm very glad they didn't leave when they arrived early and I wasn't home. Before he got started we discussed my reason for setting up the appointment. He gave me some general advice on AC systems including how to balance the air flow through the house. We conducted a walk through of the basement and he expalined where the dampers are on each duct and more details on how to balance the system. We also discussed ways to increase efficiency by closing dampers to rooms not often in use. He checked the AC unit in the basement and the outside unit. He replaced an air filter that may have contributed to some of our airflow issues. Overalll, I was very satisfied with the service. Syracuse Energy was punctual at every step and thorough in the work completed.
