Excellent customer service,Trained and courteous staff.. The price was reasonable and the end result of the driveway sealing and crack filling was excellent. I have used used other companies that were highly rated under Angie's List whose quality of work was less than I expected. Armourseal Co .is the only company I will use. My neighbors have also commented how great my driveway looks and they will also be calling them for all their driveway sealing needs. . .

See above. Mother said that her son's company is behind on quotes. She also mentioned the date that I had contacted them as being too late(not too late for another company). I just don't understand why I was lead to believe that a quote could be done as well as the work. I didn't call until mid August because my wife had a stroke 5/30 and the driveway sealing was the last thing on my mind during the summer.
Not sure what is happening with this company but professionalism, in my opinion, not there.

Good customer service on phone, responsive. Pays attension to details. Called when they say car in garage to see if I wanted to move before sealing.

They did a great job. They were very neat and they cleaned up after themselves. I am going to use them again.

They sealed other driveways in the neighborhood as well as ours, but our driveway was the only one to have problems for some unknown reason. However, the company really took pride in its work and sent someone over immediately to address the problem. The driveway finally looked as it should after several visits.

Unfortunately, it rained after everything was fixed, so asphalt had splashed onto parts of the house. The company did make an attempt to clean this as well, but they said they would have to come back and try something else. However, no one returned after that last visit.

I received a flyer in my mailbox from Armourseal. I had noticed a couple of neighbors had used them to seal their driveways in the past. I gave them a call and asked for an estimate. The person I spoke with (I think his name was Mark) answered my many questions about the steps they take and the materials they use. He stopped by a day or two later and left an estimate in my mailbox. The price was about the same as another one I had received from a different company, who left a flyer and estimate in my mailbox a few weeks earlier. I figured this was about the going rate, so I gave Armourseal a try.
They initially told me they would be back in my area in about 2 weeks and that it was weather (rain) dependent. I mentioned that we were going to have a graduation party around that time and they told they they would try to work me in sooner. A couple of days later, they called and said they would be able to do it the next day.
On the slated morning, a saw a truck parked out front of my house. It was the crew leader and he was monitoring the weather radar. He said they would be able to do the job this morning as the rain was steering away from the immediate area. The crew arrived shortly thereafter and did all of the preparation steps and sealed the driveway. I'm not sure how long it took (perhaps 1 hour), but they were quite efficient and did a neat job. There was no sealer splatter on the garage, sidewalk, grass, or in the road in front of the house.
Please note there is a low level of coal tar type smell from the sealer. It wasn't bad at all and it was gone in a couple of days after it dried.
The people were nice to work with and communicated well with me. Everything went as planned. I think they did a very good sealing job and the price was fair.
It's been about 5 months since they did the job and the appearance of the sealer is holding up well.
About 3 years ago I sealed the driveway myself with premium Latexite sealer from a home improvement store. It cost me about $100 for the sealer, plus the broom/squeegee. It was hard, physical work, but the sealer was rated for 10 years, so I figured it was worth it. Unfortunately, the sealer color faded within the first summer from black to a charcoal gray color. It also wore thin so I could see the original pavement after 3 years. After having Armourseal do the job this summer, I will leave it to them in the future as they did a nice job (potentially with better materials) and it saved my back!

I called the morning of the 17th and was told by the woman on the phone that someone would call me to set up a time to have an estimate. Later that evening I received ANOTHER phone call from a different phone operator who told me that someone would be out and they would call back that evening with an estimate. I neither got an estimate nor another phone call back.
It was very bizarre that I got two phone calls the same day basically saying the same thing...wait for a call.
I found the first operator to be cold and non-communicative and while the second operator was kind, nothing really happened to get the estimate we really wanted.
We ended up going with a company who gave us an estimate the same day and sealed our driveway within 24 hours.
We DO NOT recommend this company based on their communication between each other AND with their potential customers. This is an example of the rest of the company, and in my opinion isn't professional at all. To give them the benefit of the doubt, we called them again before we made our choice and they had no recollection of who we were or our address for an estimate.

I love how there is an excuse as to why everything I said is a falsehood. I gave DETAILED information on the company. You even SAID that you have an answering service did you not?!

I only called YOU and the other company who actually provided us with the service. So I KNOW who I called. There was no confusion on my part. It WAS in fact the 17th which shows the reason WHY we cancelled you in the first place. You never showed the evening of the 17th as the caller specified with any kind of an estimate that night in my mailbox. Maybe YOU were the one confused since your response was done on December 13th and I actually did the report at the time in August.
