No problems. Electrician was excellent. Great work ethic and knows the business.

Tom arrived on time and went over the areas I had questions on. I had some other projects, but the price was higher than I expected so I just had him take care of the breaker. Someone in the past had put the garage on the same breaker as the living room. If a tool tripped the breaker then we also lost cable and wifi. Not a smart wiring plan. I had Tom split them up so I was less likely to trip the dedicated breaker, and the electronics were safe regardless of the garage. The panel had no space for a new breaker. He added a split breaker instead. It should have worked fine, but the part itself was defective out of the box. I've never heard of a breaker failing out of the box, but there's a first time for everything. It wasn't his fault. He put everything back the way it was and told me he would order another one and take care of it as soon as the part arrived. True to his word, he came back and installed the working breaker. Now the circuit is split and can handle more tools with no issues. The price was much higher than I was used to having moved here from the South, but the service was great.

I would use them again in future.

I was very satisfied with it. They also did some work inside the house. They switched some of my outlets from two prong to three prong. They come and they get the job done. There was another company that I did use but they kept not being available and so, finally someone recommended Doctor Electric and I tried him. They charged me a little more than the other guy was  going to charge but they got the job done. They are a little on the expensive side but they are very prompt, they get the job done and the guys that work for them are very nice.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Dr. Electric. They are the ultimate in professionalism and expertise. I have used the company for several years and would never use anyone else.

Two days before Thanksgiving I realized I had no lights in my basement and needed to get the problem fixed pronto.  I called Doctor Electric based on the reviews in Angie's List and they promptly dispatched a technician, who was able to quickly diagnose and fix the problem.  As part of their standard new customer protocol, the technician also performed a safety inspection of my home and discovered that water had been infiltrating my main electrical panel, resulting in corrosion on the main breaker and rust on a number of other breakers.  He pointed out that this could be a safety hazard and recommended that this be addressed.  At that point I was more concerned about my Thanksgiving preparations, but after the holiday was over I did my own research and subsequently spoke with Matt, the owner of Doctor Electric, who answered all of my questions and suggested several alternative approaches to addressing the problem.  Because the placement of the existing outdoor wiring was no longer up to code, and because my house has some interesting structural challenges, Matt and the technician (Tom) spent a lot of time coming up with a solution which would meet code and not detract from the look of my house. When the work was ultimately performed, it was an all-day job but it went very smoothly. The technicians arrived when they said they would, were polite, pleasant and informative, and worked hard all day to get the job done - and power back on - by the time it got dark.  They came back several days later and labeled all of the breakers.  I was very pleased with all of my interactions with the owner and the technicians.  I would definitely recommend Doctor Electric to anyone needing an electrician and will use them again myself for any future electrical needs

Very kind gentleman did the service.  Wore shoe covers.  Cleaned up completely after himself and even moved boxes that were in the way in the garage.
