I was not very happy with them. I remember they did a roofing job of a neighbor across the street. There was a back porch which was falling apart and it had wood rod on it. We hired them and they said it was lot worse than they had seen. Basically they redid the porch; they put in new windows, new flooring and roof but not the ceiling. I had my mother here who passed away in August and I wasn't living here at that time. She was like ninety years old and she was the only one in the house. I don't know if they took advantage or not. They did not give us a price list of materials but gave us a general idea about the cost. When we found out there was more wood rot and we thought it would be an answer to go with so we said yes. They did not give an itemized bill of how much the windows cost and flooring cost, nothing like that which they should have done like how other contractors do. They didn't have any breakdown of the labor cost. They didn't have an itemized bill that way but he just had like a general bill. As far as the quality of material goes, we were very disappointed. We were going to have wood paneling on the inside but we already had wood paneling on the inside before. My father had done the porch about thirty years ago so wanted something similar to what we had in there. They took the paneling out and put in a new panel but the quality of the panel which my father had done was much better than these. Basically the paneling they did is a picture of wood and you see that the picture is duplicated over and over again. It looks like a not real wood and prior packed with the picture over the top of it. We didn't know that he is going to put that up when he did it. The windows are okay and relatively cheap. Right now, two years later I have places with the caulking's coming off around the windows. We've had water coming in through the roof like an ice dam. They put the roof on top of the porch. We had the whole house re-roofed about ten years ago or may be eight years ago by a professional roofer. The roof that was done eight years ago has big sheets of rubbery put across. These guys told us they needed more of the big sheets or rubbery and made more money out of that. We had ice dams like a lot of people have so that's not unusual for this past winter. I have water coming in through the ceiling and dripping down. The house is basically a wood house but the porch is vinyl. One side of the house if you see the ice built up and if you look at another side the wood looks like a curve to it. You can also see a place where it's cutting out a little bit. There is a place where the window in the siding should be coming together but it looks like its cut and come apart. The floor that he put in was good. As far as the workmanship, the best thing they did was the flooring but the material was bad. They left their material in here all winter. They had ladders and all kind of stuff left at the backyard. They were doing the job in October. They started the work, went to another job, came back and again went to another job. My mother was very upset that they left their stuff in the backyard. They should have thought that they need that for their job and somebody else could have walked off with it. One guy came back on a Sunday when my mother had called them a couple of times because she tried to get hold of them. They were very polite and nice people to work with but I wouldn't give them a good rating. The flooring was good and some of other stuffs weren't good. The windows caulking is coming off and there are holes where the water is dripping down so it has to be re-caulked. I haven't called them up yet but they aren't easy to get hold of. I might call them up sometime this summer because usually in summer time you get people to work. I would not recommend them at all. There wasn't an itemized bill and I have no idea what the windows costs and the paneling costs. When you look at the paneling, it looks very cheap. My mother couldn't get hold of them after all. They didn't call back or they didn't respond. I wasn't her when they were doing the job. When I saw them they were okay but as far as doing the job, they didn't do it right. The flooring job was well done but the windows were bad. The way that they went about the pricing stuff wasn't good and I think they should tell the cost of the items. I've used others before and they've told me how much things cost. The guys were nice guys, when you talk to them they were polite and well mannered. They seemed kind of professional when we saw them doing the things but some of the workmanship was obviously terrible. I always saw at the beginning when I was with my mother and I don't know if they took advantage of her but certainly the billing part wasn't good. They left stuff all over the place for over the winter. If they were doing the job then you would think they would need some of the materials. They didn't do all the work at once because they went to another place to do the job and come back again to complete it. My mother was really unhappy.
