Went well-- was told I'd be scheduled a few weeks out and they showed up within three days, tree was removed quickly and with no complications within 90 minutes, stump grinder showed up three days after that to finish the job, all chips & detritus were tidied up well, all three gentlemen were very polite and professional.

My doctor recommended them. They did a good job. Everything was super, I would highly recommend them. They were very casual, easy to get along with, did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. There wasn't anything to dislike.

The work was done very well with very good clean up when done. I would have to give them a big 5 stars for excellence along with the help in picking out the replacement plants and mulch. They are easy to work with and made us 100% satisfied.

I first has Jennifer come out to our property to give me an estimate. Jennifer seemed knowledgeable of the service I was requesting and seemed to steer me in the right direction. My wife called a few days later to schedule the work, she did not get a response back from Walker Tree. I called a few days later and finally got a hold of Jennifer and set up the appointment for Thursday 10/9 at 1 PM. I took time off of work to be home while they did the work. Walker Tree never showed, after a few voice mails someone from Walker called me back around 2:30ish PM and informed me they were not showing up for the work. I expressed my displeasure and asked for Jennifer to call me ASAP. Jennifer called a little while later and was extremely defensive from the beginning. I again expressed my displeasure explaining I had taken time off of work to be there for the appointment and should have received a call if they were not going to show, again Jennifer was extremely defensive, even rude at times. Jennifer finally divulged that residential customers get bumped if they are required to do tree removal for the city of Syracuse. Jennifer called me back later the next day, saying they could be at my house at 7 am Monday morning.
7 am came and went on Monday, the crew finally showed up around 8:15 am. They removed my trees and trimmed the others up. However, during their cleanup they dragged all of the debris over my new concrete patio marking it up and staining it. We discovered the patio after the crew had left. We tried to clean the patio ourselves with no luck.
My wife called Jennifer to explain the patio issue, and again did not get a call back. My wife called back the next day and finally got a hold of Jennifer. They spoke about the patio and Jennifer gave some suggestions on how clean it. We tried all suggestions and no luck. Jennifer come over to look at the patio while we were out, called my wife, started her berate on my wife how the patio damage was to be expected. My wife tried to speak and Jennifer cut her off, again being very belligerent and rude to my wife. Jennifer eventually decided to not bill us for the tree work, however the patio repair would be on us.

Jennifer, the owner, contacted me quickly in response to my voice mail message and met with me within a few days at a convenient time (after business hours) to review the work I wanted done. Jennifer, a certified arborist, listened attentively, quickly understood my objectives, and then provided excellent, specific recommendations for improving the appearance and health of the landscape and reducing shade in selected areas of the property. She was very thorough in her assessment and spent nearly an hour touring the property, talking with me, making notes and suggestions and revisitng several areas to make sure we mutually understood what work was required. Before she left, Jennifer provided a firm price quote, which was appropriate for the scope of work, and I accepted her bid the next morning.
A long stretch of rainy weather delayed the work to a period when I would be out of town, so Jennifer offered to honor a firm date about three weeks later, and I happily agreed. Jennifer phoned me the day before to confirm the job and arrived as planned with the necessary equipment and a crew of four. She provided detailed, accurate instructions to her foreman and crew, supervised the initial phases of the work and did some pruning work for about two hours before leaving her capable foreman in charge at the site. The crew were courteous and professional in demeanor, communicative with me and were happy to do any special requests I asked for. Except for a brief lunch break, they worked non-stop from 9 AM to 3 PM and completed an amazing amount of work. A good portion of the job was inaccessable by cherry picker and required pole saws, and beyond their reach, a climber with a chain saw (who was awesome to watch!). Their clean-up was very thorough and they left me with enough 16" cuts of firewood to last serveral winters.
In summary, Jennifer and her crew did everything I wanted done, exactly as I wanted it, with professional skills and pride at a price that was neither cheap nor outrageous, but was an excellent value and a home landscaping investment. I will use Walker Tree Care, Inc. for any future work I need, and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone, particularly to those who can appreciate the added value that a licensed professional and well-trained and skilled crew bring to any tree care or landscaping project.

They were very professional. The husband does the actual tree removal and wife is an arborist. They were very helpful in making a recommendation for what trees I needed to replace for the ones they took out to maintain the ecological balance. I had gotten a couple of quotes and their price was reasonable. They came when they said they were going to come and did a really good job with the clean up. I would definitely use them again in the future.
Response from WALKER TREE CARE & REMOVAL
"Thank you for the opportunity to work on the property."
